Nice shots. It's a shame there was no indication around the next codex releases for 40k, but not surprising either I suppose given the immenent release of WFB 8th ed.

I'd assumed that there was a plastic Giant at the heart of the conversion. I need to get some training in sculpting.

Scary how skilled and talented some people can bit. I always feel a bit of depression when I discover the numerous younger and more skilled artists then myself XD I suppose that it should be more inspiring though.

it is inspiring (because they give a lot advice, they are not reclusive) but like every human activity you have the techniques and Talent, and some have both ... they are the happy few, in France you have about 15 painters of this talent, that all. they make a small community centered on some forum (minicreateurs, coolminiornot ...) but they are accessible and good guys ... the problem is that most of use just can't use their advice because of the lack of the Gift !!
that's not a reason not to try !!

Awesome base on the Nurgle guy. Looks disgusting. I really like the look of the Elysian 'dune-buggies'. Makes me want an IG drop-force.

to finish with the french GD here is the Gold GD for the open category (no slayer allowed for this category from 2 years ago... cause all the best were here with for sculpted pieces and that bothered GW) from Juan Manuel Palomares Nunez (from the Spanish Team)
