2010 models including GK's/Ordos.
http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=237442
Thread even mentions GK Jetbikes being quite likely read it through.
Someone on Bolterandchainsword posted the following overview of that thread:
Long time since I posted in here. Oh well, at least I bring some interesting news. According to Stickmonkey from Warseer, he is a GW employee. He wished to share some of the 40k WIP models for 2010. These were the first three:
* New GK Terminators 3ups (5 poses, 1 HQ/leader)
* New Daemonhunter/Witchhunter concept art
* New DH/WH vehicles/support
Not only that, he would later post:
"... Much of the discussion yesterday revolved around DH/WH plans. And i mentioned in the other thread it could see light of day around Jan next year if it stays on track. Can't see it happening any earlier, but could happen mid-2011."
and
"As far as inquisition, I've only seen GK. And I think these are great looking models, they retain the individualism. The details are all there. Certain "options" were shown. Discussions around expanded chapter organization were had. I think GK players will be happy once these are released."
Things are starting to trickle in now. Really, it seems like that they really might be doing combined =I= even though I had seen different from higher up but that was over a year ago and might have changed. Another thing that I forgot to mention, the poster said that GW is focusing to make all basic troops plastic (nothing new there) so don't freak out since PAGKs aren't up on the list (which I don't think was all inclusive, just what he saw).
ANOTHER OVERVIEW FROM JAKEHUNTER52 from BOLTERANDCHAINSWORD:
For expediency sake, here's what Stickmonkey posted today:
"I got to see the DH/WH character designs yesterday, there are about a dozen named inquisition, incl existing.
one looks like a gk chaplain.
a sister w what looks like twin arm mounted SBs.
a named preacher.
new concept for throne of judgement less like a converted dread.
sister w twin cat o nine tails.
confessor w a big staff w what looks like integrated flamer
named seraphin w new jump pack, more marine like (large jets) but retains some archaic details, also has sword and combi weapon
another gk named justicar, w 2 ended force weapon.
a gk vehicle based character."
Also, he hints that GK will be getting new vehicles that are best described by "one word, sammael." Yes....Jetbiker Grey Knights.
Well, at least the IC selection looks fairly consistent with what we've seen in newer codexes and further confirms my suspicions that it will be a combined dex. Also, I am looking forward to seeing the confessors and preachers make a comback (I never got a chance to play with them). As far as the jetbikers go, well....would be kinda cool to get some fancy toys from Mars that not even the SMs get.
JUST THOUGHT I'D PASTE THIS IN TOO:
Inquisition
* All inquisition units to get new models...eventually
* Codex: Inquisition to combine all orders of =I=
* GK being focused on for release, Sisters 2nd wave
* No allies, but indoctrinated units will include choices from other Imperial armies
* No faith points
* Lots of Psychic Nullification
* Lots of Ignore Invul
* Another flyer/transport kit Valkyrie-sized being planned for release
* GK models may see light of day early tied into another product release. (commentary: I hear rumors of a Space hulk expansion being planned, but they are vague and disorganized, so much salt needed here)
* Release window is not 2010 for C:I
* Imperial Assassin now a single unit, culdex, Caladeus, etc all gone. Unit will have numerous lethal options. Very Expensive.

* New Marine models for a specific chapter
Specific chapter? I play a specific chapter!
Edit - A new MC model for my Necrons sounds neat as well! Is it the Outsider? PLEASE tell me that it is the outsider! Or, the Void Dragon. Although fluff-wise, he would have to be big. Titan Big. At the least. And should he awake, the Mechanicus would be robbed of their.. belief, purpose and about everything. Still though, they could rebel continue to follow the Dragon, giving us another troop choice! Whopee!

The Void Dragon is not a C´Tan. Just read Mechanicus. The C´Tan are not psykers, but the Void Dragon is.Tiberius wrote:* New Marine models for a specific chapter

The Void Dragon's a C'Tan. He might not be the Machine-God, but the Dragon's definitively a C'Tan.
Haven't been able to read all the juicy books yet, been focusing on getting my armies big 'n proppa. But I need a few more books, so I think I'll pop by my GW and purchase some, soon!

Amazing, I'd absolutely LOVE to see the DH/WH concept art. New Grey Knight Termies and stuff sounds great; I think I can relax with all the Grey Knights I have and save some space for the new ones

Thank you.
I gave up on Warseer and B&C, so having someone who is willing to put up with them to discover this sort of info is worth having around.
Again, thank you.

No problem brothers. Updated the intro post.
Jetbike GK's as a Fast Attack or a Jetbike Hero have just become 'possible'. Given one of the things mentioned.
If tackled well it would suit the GK's 'knightly' edge. Imagine Power Lanced Jetbike Knights. ^__^
The guy who posted is seen as about as reliable as 'Harry'. Hence there is some degree of correctness to what the guy said, at worst! Possibly even entirely correct. Hence, good news for us GK players!

Nice. But notice that he says "Yesterday I got to look at some of the new WIP items for 2010 and beyond". Beyond.... So it might not be this year but maybe first 2011.
But rumours are always cool, but i doubt much can be trusted right now. But anyways, GK bikers sounds a little meh, i dont think its really a GK thing

Jetbike?
JETBIKES!!!
Is nothing holy anymore, can't the mechanicus get to keep the few they have?
I'm sorry, this just seems ridiculus.
I mean, where is 40k story going, everything sucks, the imperium is struggling to retain what technology and borders it has left.
Oh, suddently they reinvented the jetbike, and they improved the steering too, added repulsor cushioners and holithic dampeners.
And gave them to grey knights.
Who like the space marine special characters now fights EVERYWHERE!!!
Just think about it, T5, flying assult range 18" (Unless they get fleet where it gets even further) and str 6 attacks, probably power weapons.
Who will not want them for their sheer powergaming quality?
Suddently GK will be the army alot of people play, and alot of fluff will most certainly be rewrritten for the worse as everything is nowdays.
Like the gk chaplain, it never existed before apparently, but now it does, becouse in a chapter where all know all the prayers in the imperium by heart (exaggeration) need a spiritual leader to show them the true path.
Nah, i'm feeling very pessimistic about theese rumours.

The GK got the most advanced technology aviable. And some jetbikes from the dark age of technology would fit perfectly.NemesisForce wrote: I too dislike the jetbike idea as it doesn't fit the image IMHO.

I like the concept since jetbikes really "smack" of old world tech. However, I do share Klomster's concern about "power-gaming" for would-be GK players who get enticed because of all the "new and cool" stuff we'll have. I only hope the codex is well done to make it really balanced.

In reality, the mechanicus has the most advanced technology avaviable.
And the gk has the most holy gear, of master artisan quality that is best at kicking deamon ass.
I think that jetbikes feel a bit unpractical for grey knights.
How do they get them down on the surface for example?
Well, they could use the teleporters.
But why send 3 bikes when you can send down 10 PAGK's or 5 terminators.
Or the thunderhawk, which is the second form of ground assult GK utilize.
Same problem there, plus jetbikes is SUPER rare.
I think only mechanicus and sammael has ones, Xenos perversions of the true path not counted.
And Gk's on bikes feels a bit like pegasus riders, why not put them on horses in the first place, and have our knights in shining armour go save some princesses to mary.
Nah, i like my background, and jetbikes crashes it alot.
And i am a bitter conservative bastard, and i'm proud of it!

Re: 2010 models including GK's/Ordos.
1) It might be a single 'hero' char who has a 'bike' of sorts.
Bike is speculation as the GW employee hinted at Samael (Dark Angel her) It may be another type of transport. It may be a troop/unit type but could just be the mentioned solo char.
2) About the Chaplain etc... it was NEVER denied that they had one. In fact GK fluff is to say the least 'limited'. So I don't really see why they might not have one of the wiser GK's assigned as Chaplain. Nor why other 'traditional' units in one form or other might not be allowed to pop up.
I myself would love to see some more variation for the GK's. Though I don't specifically care wether the extra GK units are Chaplains, Bikes or something else entirely. Just as long as they add more balance to a GK force.
And given the all metal nature of GK's... i doubt we'll see a GK player swarm pop up. And if so... they'll fade quickly anyway.
