Hello brothers.
Just thought I'd show you a little thing a did a while ago. I might go back some time and make it a little more grimdark actually.
Strictly speaking, this isn't a comic, but I thought this might be a more appropriate place for it. If not, could a helpful mod perhaps move it to a more suitable place?
Hopefully if I ever have enough time and effort I might make a Red Knights comic....

Well, it is most similar to a comic, as it is not a model.

I'd say it belongs here. So no need to worry, all artwork is best in this section i guess.

As for the piece itself.

Well, it's not bad, if you do a few others (like alo of others) i will be very good.

It's a good start.

Smile I like it; its always nice to see Grey Knights in differing colours done well. The hand and shoulder joint points stick out really well in the picture.

Thanks for the kind words. Very Happy
Here's another one I just finished, no Bg on this, but I tried my hand at a storm-bolter and a power-field on the nemesis force-sickle:

He looks like he's a bit squashed, like the pic has been pressed down from the top.

It's more dynamic but still has some anatomical problems, but just look at some reference art and stuff and do a few more pics and this will be ace, you have done a great improvement.

Currently, I'm away from my tablet, so no Photoshop for me. :c
But- I did manage to get a sketch of a Psycannon GK and his servo skull comrade done for practice in my spare time.

Oh yes, that. That would be the fluff shining through.
Well, I started the 'Red' Knights originally as a bit of an in joke, as well as to bring a bit of flavour to the field, but then I got thinking on the subject (communism). Thinking about it logically, the only way a truly Communist system would work is if it was governed by a truly selfless being, That's a big factor in why it has failed several times in the past, but if there was some sort of being who only cared about the people rather than himself, then it would be Communism as it should be, a truly equal society that could work together to fulfill common goals that benefit everyone, not just the leaders. Now, who better to fill this role than the ultimate servants of the emperor and protectors of his Imperium? They need nothing, and give all.

Touchy subject I know, but I just love radical ideas. Smile

Very Happy I like your work Brother Nygo; but here are a few suggestions:

Bulk him out; Space Marines are suppose to be massive, god like warriors that are 8 feet tall and tower over normal mortals. The head should be significantly smaller in comparison to the shoulder pads, and I suggest you look around for some reference of Space Marines, namely their anatomy, which can be a bit tricky if you don't have a clear comparison.

Just remember to draw what you like how you want to though; not to cramp up your style Smile

Thought I might as well post this one:

40k Related artscribbles Yaroslav_by_Neigo_raven
General Svyato Yaroslav of the Red-Coated Cossacks

General Svyato. He lost his legs saving a Red Knight from a super mutant that ambushed them. The Knights were so impressed that they rewarded him with power-armoured legs operated by servos linked to his nervous system.
I'm considering making a model of him and using him as an Inquisitor/Lord.

You should've had the feet point outward instead of inwads on the second pic.
