Just checked the points. That´s 1800 points. Damn, he had cheated me!!!!!

My opponent won the throw for the first turn, but i was able to steal the Ini from him. So i got the first turn finally.


SW 1st Turn:
I deployed the LRC with the BC and the Wolf Priest in the center of my formation. The left flank was hold by Bjorn the Fell-handed and the other three dreads. My right flank was protected by my GH packs. The Crusader moved straight toward the center of the enemy´s lines. The dreads also moved forward to face the opponent´s LR, the dreadnought and the scouts. The Rhinos with the GHs made a wide turn around a forest to get into a good position for the next turn. The Long Fang dreads blow up the LR with their Lascannons. The Crusader kills one SM with his AC.

SM 1st Turn:
My opponent kept both Terminator Squads, the Vanguards and the Assault Squad into reserve (a big mistake but i warned him). Each of the Captains had been attached to one of the Combat squads. He decided to face the Rhinos with the Captains/Combat Squads. He tried to shot at one dread but missed.

SW 2nd Turn:
Both Rhinos moved forward and both GH squads disembarked to take care of the Captains. The Crusader did the same and the BC, under the lead of the Wolf Priest, left their transport to face the Captains, too. The dreads moved also forward to deal with the dread. Both GH squads opened fire on one of the Captains/Combat Squads They killed all but the Captain. He missed his leadership test and fleed toward the table edge.
The dreads tried to finish the enemy dread but archived only a "Crew stunned" result. During CC the BC killed the second Combat Squad, but again the second Captain survived and fleed. Both Captains had been able to regroup.

SM 2nd Turn:
The first Terminator Squad and the Vanguards appeared from the reserve. The Terminators appeared between the Captains and my GH. Both Captains joint them. The Vanguards entered the table near my BC. In the shooting phase i lost 9 BC to enemy fire. The Vanguards assaulted them thanks to their "Heroic Intervention" but they didn´t hit or wound. My WP and the remaining 6 BC killed them all.

SW 3rd Turn:
Again i moved my dreads forward to, finally, kill the dread. The GHs and the Crusader took aim at the Captains and the Terminators, who played sitting duch for me. I shot all five Terminators and one Captain down. One off the Long Fang Dreads blow up the enemy dread, while the other, together with Bjorn pumped their fire into the Scout Squad. The AC dread shot at one of the two remaining Combat Squads. The WP and the BCs charged into the last remaining Combat Squad, but killed only 2 off them.

SM 3rd Turn:
The second Terminator Squad and the Assault Squad appeared. The last Captain joint the Terminators. And again my opponent hit nothing during his shooting phase (or a passed my armour saves). In CC i finished the Tac Marines.

SW 4th Turn:
My GHs move toward the newly arrived Terminators. The Dreads moved also closer to support the BCs and to deal with the remaining (and fleeing) scouts. The concentrated fire of the GH, the Crusader and the AC dread killed the last Captain and 4 off 5 Terminators. The BCs charged into the last Combat Squad and killed three off them.

SM 4th Turn:
The Terminator and the Assault Marines charged into the BC and the WP. I lost all BC but killed the two Tac Marines and three off the Assault Squad.

SW 5th Turn:
The WP finished the Terminator and one Assault Marine. He lost one wound to the Power Weapon of the Terminator Sergeant.

SM 5th Turn:
The scouts charged the WP. He in return killed them both. But the Assault Squad Sergeant slew the WP with his Power Fist.

The match ended with the fifth Turn. I lost the 15 BC and the Wolf Priest, while my opponent lost all with the exception of the Assault Squad Sergeant.

My list worked exactly as intended. They all worked as a single pack. The BC drove a wedge into the enemy lines while the dreads and the GHs encircled and killed the prey with concentrated fire. It was perfect.

Wow, that line of Dreads sounds gruesome Brother Bjoern!
The amount of effective troops your able to fit in that few points amazes me....*looks at Grey Knight squads >_>*

Honestly though, that was more like a slaughter then a game That Assault sergeant must have been pretty depressed at the end to see everything that had been on his side absolutely demolished.

A slaughter worth an ale or ten I'd say. Well done DB. You're opponent was a little crazy in leaving that many units in reserve and you were kind enough to show him the error of his ways.

Yeah, i told him but he refused to listen. But the best was when he told me that his army is a Crimson Fist army. No Pedro Cantor and in stead of Sternguards he used those crappy Vanguards. With Cantor the Sternguards would be scoring units. And Sternguards would be more dangerous. The Vanguards are too expensive for what they can. He was lucky this time that he throw a hit for deep striking. So he was able to profite from their "Heroic Intervention".
My unit of the day had been the WP/BC pack they had earned their points (ca. 300) by killing one Tactical Squad, the Vanguards, 4 off the Assault Marines, 1 Terminator and 2 Scouts.
