EDIT: Heres the list for the tournament. You get a FOC each, with a mininum of 1 Troop and 1 HQ.

Last tournament the missions were based around kill points (no loss for losing kill points) with varying deployment types across two battles.

Also my Doubles Partner Zo Dan currently has a Squad of Terminators (6) Incinerator and a Stern Model with a Thunderhammer. So I would like to incorporate his models into the game for him to get the feel of the game more.

Any suggestions welcome, Apologies for the shortlist because I'm in a internet cafe (updated when my laptop is fixed)

Basic strategy is to spearhead with the Grey Knights behind. Or the Grey Knights up the flanks.

Do you have to stick to any particular rules? looks like you have 2 troops choices and an hq each so why not go for...

This way you can scoot around in land raiders all protected, the BC's naturally join the PAGK squads.

Only problem i have with running such small PAGK squads at the moment is without being in something they will be decimated. Secondly whatever you decide i think 185pts on a single model (which isn't a tank) is far to much to spend considering that he isn't an eternal warrior and as such will be insta-killed be anything str 8 or over and with only a 5++ save he won't be lasting long.

Hope this gives you some ideas

If it's possible to field it the two LR build could be effective but you'd have to shorten the field and work closely together each game. For the GM I'd think about swapping the Daemonhammer and IotJ for more bodies instead. Swinging last in cc is gonna hurt with only a two-man ret.

Only allowed one GK Hero per army, so unless those BC's are Justicar's that won't work

Thats a good point brother. However, I know my last doubles tourney, used a modified force chart where each person gets 1 troop and one hq choice, then they split the remaining 4 troop, 3 heavy 3 fa 3 elite. In other words two seperate "armies", you just decided on each one's force chart sections before hand. This way works well if you allow different armies to team up. If you consider them one 'army' you get some really wonky rules interactions if you have different races. You should really check on if they are doing this, as you don't wanna show up with illegal lists! personally i think you'll be fine, but better safe then sorry.

Thats a good point Brother, we do need more bodies but were expecting lots of Dreadnought spam and anything similar.
