I particularily like this:

A DH Storm Shield counts as an extra CCW and might therefore grant an additional attack. This needs further clarification. A SM Storm Shield does not.

I see no reason why a shield isn't weapon, and with the new FW figure looming what better time to clarify this.

Well probably what he is referring to is the fact that with a weapon which you need two of to gain the extra attack you may not gain this bonus attack,
(ie 2 claws, or hammers)
But its a bit of a tossup because this one says it gives another attack counting as a CCW while the other rules state that a bonus attack cannot be gained from another type of CCW only with two claws or hammers....

So which takes precedence ? (This is from memory and may not be worded right)

Much thanks, very useful information. I'd figure that a storm shield would count as a bonus weapon, shield bashing and all.
