small problem (battle report with pics )

this was just a small game to teach deamon scum the rulles so im not useing the gk to the max potentiol YET the points was 640 points has thats all deamon scum had ready so i matched upto her

first sorry about the board i dont have any buildings or stuff ready so this is super make shift so bare with it board is 4 feet by 4 feet

ok ok turn one
i got most of my stuff over to the right of the board and deamon has hers to the left
movement
i decide not to move the troops and get those psys going dread moves 6 inch forward and so does the captain

shooting
4 psycannons cheak line of sight roll the dice bbbbboooommm a hit down go there letters from one troop and the rest by the other

turn one deamon scums turn she decides to use the 36 inch str 8 ap 2 blast attack and the bad news is im in range the dice role scater is rear with 2 inch movement great she still hits the whole squad and bye bye




turn 2
the last attack made a massive dent in my armoure has i lose a whole troop not a good start my dreads no good cant do any thing so he gets move further round the building and so does the captain

turn 2 deamon scum she deeps strikes her bloodletters in the dice hit the ground sctaer right and 9 inches bless the emporer thats clean of the table edage ha ha





turn 3 gk

dread and captain get moved further forward ready for any more deepstrikes troops are static cant shoot or asssult

turn 3 deamon scum she locks on to my troops with her weapon but gets a scater rear and a mighty 9 ibch bless him prai be to him


she deeped striked her blood thirster in this is gone get fun !!! shes craks her whip but rolls a one ha ha

TURN 4 GK THE DREAD ROCK THE ASSULT CANNON AND SCORES A WOUND YEEESSS
whikst the captain moves out of the building to assit the dread

turn 4 deamon scum she moves the soul grinder towards our units she locks on and takes out the other troops in one hit this is not good just a captain and a dread left the blood thirters has first attack and hits hard takeing my catain out the dread attacks back but nothing

turn 5 gk she attacks first due to higer i i attack back but nothing again

turn 5 deamon gets he grinder into hth poor dread she throws a volly of attacks all miss i throw some back and send her soul grinder realing from the attack roll a 5 in the dmg table ha ha

final battle still wages the game ended in a draw dread was ok blood had one wound left

Did you use the rending rule for the Assault cannon IL?
I have to say again that I love the BR, especially the humour

yes i did has even in tyhe 5th ed it says they are rendering but she failed the inv save and rolled a one ha ha

but they can run if they haven't got a ranged weapon, or even if they have... valid tactic to acquire cover, not something a daemon player has to think about usually but against psycannons that ignore our wonderful.... er.... those blighted invulnerable saves,

ref the inv saves im not sure has the deamons cant be intant death and every model in the whole army save is inv
