foot horde shooty list
Hi guys.
Here is another list idea
Last tournament i saw a SW player with like only marines on foot with heavy fire support walking all over everybody.
I think we have very potent infantry and liked the idea of an horde elite army
IOM - terminator armor, psycannon, psyker
IOM - terminator armor, psycannon, psyker
10 Purifiers - 4 flamer, hammer , 5 helbards
10 SS - 2 psycannons, hammer, psyammo
10 SS - 2 psycannons, hammer, psyammo
10 Terminators - 2 psycannons, 1 hammer, psyammo, 6 helbards

precience psycannons help gainst fliers, horde armys should just die to massive S5 Sb fire and small vehicles will burn to the dreads.
Tyranid MCs can be handled by psyweapons.
I dont know if its enough troop power but 42 Marines marching towards you is scarry. even more scary with this weaponry of ours
Only thing i cant handle so good are A14 vehicles. Maybe with hammers in CC. Until then i thin i can just ignore them
What do you guys think ? Is it worth a try? Do you know the SW kind of list i mean?

It uses henchman to up the stormbolter / melta gun count and Kara dread to keep them from running back home to Formosa.

One thing I see this list struggling against is uber mech. what happens when you run up against an IG list that is popping a lot of AP 2 and AP1 large blasts? or a mass dark eldar poisoned rifle and dark lance fest.......
Foot lists are very very very very very very very fluffy, but problem with GK footlists now is that you really need to get into CC very quickly, which means DEEP STRIKE. And since you can only deep strike half your army that means you can't bring full force against an enemy quickly..

True, heavy mech lists have the potential of shooting your ass to the Warp before you can reach 24" safe zone of shooting we have.
But I think a full foot list can work, provided you have the tools to disrupt mech bubble-wraps. Perhaps some Interceptors + psybolt ammo, NDK+PT or deepstriking paladins, or termies, though deep strike is not that accurate and you can end up in Brazil with a bad roll.
Anyways I like your idea, I'd focus on more units and drop the dreads, though great they don't fit enough in a list like this At least that's what I think.
Edit: Since you are using 2 Inquisitors, why not use Jokareros as heavy support? 3 per Inq. + Prescience and you've got 6 twin linked-lascannon (MM too if you are in range) shots every turn, and 2 5++ units. This way you can keep your Dreads for heavy support saturation. I think this way you have a chance to clear up heavy threats.
