Alright, basically The Lord Inquisitor is a short ultra quality CGI movie that is currently 100% fan made and is in the works right now

And that warp scene could very well be the best 'fast-than-light' travel animation I've ever seen.

Im not aware of a release date, but they seem to post updates on the websites time to time.

The pics are awesome and the movie was great, GW needs to give them a job so they can make the next movie.

yeah those clips are amazing it really buts the animation from the officaial movie to shame can GWS do anything right these days

Nope, though I love the game, it's a single flushe from a clogged toilet.

I reckon is one thing to make 2-5 seconds worth of excellent quality animation and another thing to make a feature film with super quality CGI marines. That costs the big bucks.

Just look at Final Fantasy. The budget for that movie was 137 million dollars. While the Ultramarine movie just had 1 mill, perhaps a little more, but the difference is evident. Unless GW or another big company gives the big bucks, independent films will always be like Ultramarines (which I consider to be a great effort btw).

Animationwise it's good.
Models and textures are good in ultramarines too.

My problems lie with the fluff in that movie.

Plus space marines are not supposed to be wusses. Like they are in space marine.

Perhaps its the gravitational pull of that particular planet or it's just an alien piece of wood...

Aren't the backpacks on SM's anti-grav backpacks to effectively make them lighter?

They would probably still break moldy wooden planks, but if that's correct then it would help to explain it at least a little bit.

They are thruster packs that help them navigate in space.

Not antigrav, only a few imperial things have that.

Ah shucks. Well there's goes my attempt to salvage some manner fluffiness. It's like reaching into a bowl you think is full of cotton candy, then realizing it's actually full of nails.

Xenos petrified wood sold at Homeworlddepot, it all depends on the thickness, density of the wood material and how far along is the decompostion. In the movie, I can't get over how bad chaos are at shooting. These SM were out on the open field with no cover saves, like a bird on a wire... and they still couldn't bring them down, but shooting from a high cliff into a dusty foggy trail and killing two SMs. Plus, not checking if these emperor's canaries were tainted with a daemon living downstairs? I liked the movie but I can tear it apart like a pizza.

Amazing work! I had seen his early videos, but the thunderhawk landing one is real cool!
