LA Battle Bunker GT 1500 PTS

Will have a chance to attend a one day GT at the LA Battle Bunker on Jan 29. The tourney is set at 1500 pts. Standard GT rules apply and special characters are allowed. The usual awards will also be presented (Best Overall, Best General, Best Painted, etc).

Since I already have a fully painted 2000 pt army, I've come up w/ several 1500 pt list options and am still debating w/c one I should take. Whatever the final list will be, it will definitely be a multi-LR list led by the GM. All comments and feedback welcome please

I think i like the second list more than the others, you have 2 units of 7 PAGK which is a good number. One stays back to provide fire support with the p-cannons and the other rides in a LR to pop out and flame anyone in the way. all this goes on while the GKT's go and combat the smaller units and possibly pop a few tanks.

I like this one over the others sense they have larger units to survive a beating. the third one im not so sure about, once the storm troopers pop out they may get killed out right off the bat, or even in the chimera. making them a waste of points.

I agree, the second list seems like a better idea. Bigger units and none of those normal humans who defecate themselves when they see a heavy flamer.

i prefer the first one ... because of the 3 scoring unit and KP relatively low.
I don't like mixing IST with GKs so i wouldn't go with it.
the second is good but 2 scoring unit for 2/3 of missions to be objective linked , imho it's too low.

so for me it's a go for the first one

i like the second list its pretty much the list am using at the moment and am having good battles with it

the third one i like the small IST squad i have used this before its good to hide them near an objective till the end as most enemies forget about them

Second list identical to mine Rivan It seems like just the right balance, sticking your troops closely together with the LR's. I am confident you will as usual do us all proud at the tourney ^^
