Re: Disturbances in the warp!!! To arms Brothers!!!!
@ Brother Aubec,
Would that I had the skills for that (and the cash for that matter ) but lets just say that my experience with modding metal models has been a bit...unsatisfactory. Which is why I am (in part) looking forward to the prospect of plastic models.
The new Daemons do look pretty nice! Never fear though, I'm not about to go "Brother Ezekiel" or anything like that

Cash is indeed a limitation for conversions
but i'm not a conversion specialist either : what i intend to do is really mixing things to change the pose of my Gk, like brother ceasarian (or DB ?? ) i want use kneeling legs with metal arms or metal torso with plastic or resin arms and so on ... nothing complicated just glueing parts that was not created for one each other.

LOL!!! go "Brother Ezekiel"! I love it
@ Brother Aubec Le Noir,
"Kit bashing" seems to be the term that would best sum up your approach to customization, would you agree?
I have saved the money that I got from selling the majority of my miniatures, and I am thinking that I will be re-investing the money in plastic GKTs (IF they are worthy).
I am thinking that even though I don't play anymore that I can customize and magnatize some GKTs to fit with my Space Hulk game. I will create "counts as" models for the 12 Blood angel terminators, and magnatize them so that I can change the bases they are on, and possibly even some arms so that I can put an assault cannon on one of them.......Then who knows, maybe the Knight Wing will be re-born and I can collect 100 GKTs and play Armagedon Appocolipse battles banishing Angron back to the warp!!!!!!!!! But I digress! LOL!!!
I guess I should wait and see what the new GKs will be like first

Speaking of Angron Constantine, I'd like to see someone make him with the new Daemon Prince kit >D I personally like how big the new kit is, and the pink horrors look pretty crazy too. Seekers are kinda meh to me, but there I go hating Slaanesh again. Changeling is nice though; plastic blood crushers are gonna be a sweet to convert being impaled by Grey Knights

I love how you are excited about the new Daemon models so that you can model them being destroyed I must admit that I am generally a pretty big fan of most of the plastics, but of course as stated before, some of their predecessors are not easily improved on.....But in terms of customization, plastic wins hands down.
I was always thinking that Angron (Daemon Prince Style) should be more of the Forge World Blood Thirster (or whatever it's called scale)....Give one of those models a sword and you would have one hell of an awesome representation of Angron
Now if I could just win the lottery tonight I can show you what I mean

XD Ahh! Your right, that huge expensive BloodThirster would make a PERFECT Angron! I forget his long and difficult to pronounce name, but I do recall him being smited by Hector Rex.
>;D And of course! What other purpose would daemons in plastic serve OTHER then to be converted into terrain and posed defeated by the Emperor's finest?
Aye, they are certainly a bit "cartoony", especially in showing their predecessors, but its sort of cool that all the people who own the old ones will have veteran ones in regards to the new ones. Just sucks that GW tends to drop the ball frequently.
But I have more then enough faith that our plastic Knights will be so awesome, the Chaos Gods will probably go blind >D

An´ggarath the Unbound, Guardian of the Throne of Skulls, Lord of Bloodthirster, The Deathbringer.
Today i got the chance to take a look on the new Daemon Prince and the Seekers. Man the DP is amazing and i wanna have one for my TSons. He comes with one torso for 40k and one for Fantasy.

Pretty cool eh!
Just work some magnetic magic and you esentially have a model for both game sytems for the price of one

Magnets? THATS EXTRA HERETICA- er, actually, thats not a bad idea! Though it'd be nice to have 3 princes for the price of one on the field.

Lol. I also love magnets. One of the workers at my local games workshop has his fantasy models magnetised to their movement trays. But when we play a game of fantasy in the nearby computer and games shop, he just puts his casualties away and after a few minutes he notices he placed them on old pc's xD

I like plastic for its convertion possibilities...
It will be a pleasure to bannish those new figures in the hellish warp where they came from!
I may buy one deamon prince just to set a diorama....

Re: Disturbances in the warp!!! To arms Brothers!!!!
See I have the perfect excuse, my fiancee 'collects' (I use that term lightly) daemons, since apparently she liked the look of them the most of all armies. (Not sure what that says about her tastes and ME!)
So I can buy her some of the new stuff!
That being said she has been very lazy painting her daemonettes so I might get her to finish the first squad with the incentive of something new!
(I don't have much room to talk my desk contains 6 half converted warlocks/jetbikes for a seer council, a SoB rhino only base coated, a HE dragon that I have no real use for, several SoB partially painted, several striking scorpions, some painted, some converted, mainly incomplete, two blisters of PAGK with Psycannons, and a box of GKT -got them before they where sold out-)

The D Princes look like formidable foes but I can't take warriors in pink as seriously or fearsome. They're like kids in pink pjs running with scissors. Speaking of multiple project its like a one armed guy at a worldcup juggling competition.
