2000 PT 3 LR list
Inspired w/ the new rules for the GK LRR after I got my IA Apoc II, I decided to put it in my 2000 pt list. I'm using the IA points cost for all the vehicles (I think its not fair if I use the cheaper codex LR cost when I'm using IA Apoc for the LRR).

According to the staff at the GW headquarters in Southern California (LA Battle Bunker), their ruling is: Anyone who makes the investment to purchase the official books from GW/FW and has the model can use them, as long as they are "normal" models. By normal, they mean regular vehicles and infantry/cavalry/monstrous creatures. This does not include "super-heavies" or "flyers" which normally can only be used in apocalypse games. I know it may be different in other gaming stores.

Re: 2000 PT 3 LR list
I'll test it out when I get back to the US in May.
My standard tournament 2000 pt list w/ 2 LRs is still my favorite. I'm just really excited about the GK LRR's new rules. I tried replacing one of the LRs with it to stay with a 2 LR list but I find the AT to be severely hampered. Not that I have a problem using 3 LRs

Looks good. I too would really like to test out the LRR with it's added psyk-out grenades. I just wish they would add in the multi-melta for it in the IA updates as my favorite tournie allows FW stuff.

Cheer up Brother, you can now. It costs 10 pts for a pintle-mounted multi-melta in IA Apocalypse II

True. But unfortunately it would have to be in the regular IA part not the Apoc one for me to use it. I'm hopeful now this will change.

I see. Even if IA Apoc says its new rules for Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Apocalypse?

I'm afeared so. Apoc is a whole different beast in most tournies even though this one is the most lenient and open-minded I've been in.

The army you have listed would not be allowed to the tourneys in here as they have allmoust allways a spam limit(only 2 of the same king of Heavy Support/Fast Attack/Elite/HQ and no land raider more than 2 land raider or those ork battlewagons or somethings in a list etc.)

That's an odd rule, Brother Ezekiel.
I mean, the thing with LR spam is that you have to trade of a lot of troops to get another raider in your force, meaning you lack in other things. To not allow players to play their armies sticking to the main rules, is rather dull, in my opinion.
Mostly because I love the sight of three raiders on the table.

I guess every place can dictate their own rules but I agree w/ Brother Tiberius as it really hampers players lists even if they're sticking to the rules. In this case, a SM player can't even have 3 assault squads? Or 3 land speeder squadrons? Or even 3 bike squads?

Somethings are excluded from this rule like bikers, most jump infantry, light vehichles and the like but lets say a SW player can't spam dreads and no-one can spam heavy vechicles, like land raiders, predators, battle wagons, prism tanks, falcon gravtanks etc. or monterous creatures like carnifexes, also most transports like wave serpents, rhinos, chimeras, razorback and the like are also excluded

Re: 2000 PT 3 LR list
That is somewhat unreasonable, seeing as 40k has been balanced to take into account spamming through unit points cost. 3 LRs is 750 pts, almost half the cost of a 2000pt army. With 750pts other armies could fill the slot with units that are just as effective.
With the release of Tyranids 5th ed. I suspect that a warrior spam will be the rage (an army of 3 wound troops! )
