TOURNAMENT REPORT

OK; it was a fun tournament, and I finally finish in a second place, and I won the best General award.

the army list I use was totally new for me, and, as I see, new for the other players as well:

BLOOD ANGELS:

HQ: Chaplain with Jumpack

Elite: Death Company x 7 with jumpacks

Troops: 10 space marine tactical with plasma gun, melta gun, sarge with power weapon and rhino

Troops: 10 space marine assault squad with sarge with power weapon

Heavy: 2 predator baal with heavy bolter sponsors and a 5 man devastator with 4 missile launchers

and the best unit of my army, the one that give me two victories:

Troops: 8 Grey Knights in Power armor, with 2 psycannons.

some higlights:

-the firts battle was againts an eldar army, and my GK squad only shoot, and kill lots of eldars! they get one objective, the assault squad get another, and the death company kill the eldars of another, and I won!

-the second was against two units of 30 orks, both with mekanik, 6 kans, and 15 lootas and I lost... the orcs save lots of shoots because of the mekaniks... The GK did an awesome job in combat and shooting. they kill 15 orks in a single combat round!

-the third one was against a corrupt space marine chapter (I say it was corrupt!) and I won. the GK again did an awesome job in shooting, killing an unit of 6 terminators and a librarian. the otehr units destroy the unholy chapter in combat.

I won the new White Dwarf magazine, (in spanish) that comes with an orc and a terminator from the new box set. I'll sell the orc, and after an small work with plastic glue and the bits box, the terminator will be my very own version of a chaplain in terminator armor.

the new rules are fine, and I think that I'll continue use GK allies until our new codex is ready.

It sounds like the GK's were really shooting effectively for you in this tournament.
Is your new Terminator chaplain going to be a Blood Angel? What "bits" are you useing to customize him?

well, the new Terminator chaplain will be part of my all purpose and very own chapter, the Grail Knights...

In order to make him look differente, I add some purity seals, an space marine banner in the back, and some scrolls.

and of course, he wears black armor (and a silver helmet). since he is the only regular terminator, and also, the only one in black (all the other guys are GK terminators or special characters, like Calgar, a Librarian, Stern and Lysander, all them in chapter colors), he will be easily notice as a chaplain.

You'll have to give your Chappie a white beard and power staff. Gotta make him Merlin-esque in keeping with your Grail theme. Just kidding of course. Based on your other conversion work I'm looking forward to this one as well.
