My first battle against someone using GK

This is an account of my first battle against GK apart from Brother-Captain Validi who I play quite often. It was also my first tournament match. It happened several months ago so the details are a little hazy.

My Ultramarine Armylist

Epistolary- Fury of the Ancients, Might of Heroes

Devestator Squad(5)- 2 Lascannons, 2 Missile launchers, Tank hunters

Tactical Squad(10)- Flamer, Heavy bolter, Terminator honours, Power sword

Tactical Squad(5)- Plasma gun, Missile launcher

Assault Squad(8 - MC Power axe, Terminator honours , Storm shield,2 Plasma pistols,7 Melta bombs, Furious assault

Whirlwind- Hunter-killer missile, POTMS, Smoke launcher

I have no idea as to what upgrades my enemy had.

GK/Deathwach Army

1 Brother-Captain

5 GK terminators

10 GK + Rhino

10 Deathwatch Kill Team with Heavy bolter + Plasma Gun

BTW, pm me who you were playing, cos in 4th you couldn't have GK in a Rhino and Deathwatch are a HQ so he only had one troop choice.

Battle Report Continued:

I positioned my whirlwind behind a hillon my right, my devestators behind a wall on my left, my librarian ready to charge forward with my 10 man tactical squad on the right and my 5 man tactical squad was getting ready to provide ranged suppport on the left.
The Deathwatch took up firing positions in the buildings on my left, the GK in their rhino on my right and the terminators and BC were in reserve ready to deep strike

Battle Report Continued:

I can't remember exactly about turns however I shall do my best. I gained first turn and started to advance the librarian and 10 man tactical squad towards the rhino and held my ground everywhere else. The devastators were the first to fire with 2 lascannon rounds flying across the battlefield and scoring penetrating hits forcing the GK to disembark and first immobilising it then destroying one of its stormbolters. 2 kraks followed and destroyed the other stormbolter. The whirlwind bombarded the deathwatch killing one and fury of the ancients claimed a GK. A final deathwatch casulty from a krak missile from the 5 man tactical squad finished my turn. The GK advanced releasing a storm of shots at the marines, cutting down 2. The deathwatch heavy bolter failed to damage my marines HAHA!

Turn 2 was pretty much the same except the librarian took a wound from perils of the warp and the devastators turned their fire of the GK. The GK terminators teleported down onto the field next to my whirlwind and blew it sky high. The GK almost made it within assault range and the rhino failed to repair itself.
Turn 3 and the assault marines dropped in behind the death watch and fried 2 of them with plasma. The terminators were reduced to 3 men and the brother-captain. The librarian and the tactical squad pounced on the GK. Th librarian performed Might of Heroes gaining 3 extra attacks and using his combined 7 attacks to kill 4GK while the marine and GK squads dealt out equal damage. The terminators lumbered menacingly towards my devastators but were just out of assault range. The death watch charged the assault marines but were cut down to a man for the loss of 3 marines.
Turn 4 and the assault marines hurried towards the terminators, the devastators cut down another terminator and the last of the GK were cut down in assault at the cost of the librarian. When the GK turn came he conceded that 3 men (even GK) had no chance of winning so I was named as the victor
