Yes, that was a strange move with his LR. You'd at least think he'd make a move towards an objective marker, not the center of his opponents battleline. Goes to show you that with a pure GK army there's little room for error. Did I mention that I hate plasma cannons? Oh well, cool to see a visual GK batrep anyways.
