I think these have grey knights as a main part of the story in although I only got this information from the games workshop online store so I might be wrong.
Scourge the heretic
Hammer of Daemons

Re: The Grey Knight Novels - Ben Counter
There´re three GK novels. Grey Knight, Dark Adeptus and Hammer of Daemons (in this order).
I´m still waiting for the first two books, but i hope i will get them this week.
Scourge the Heretic is the first novel about the Ordo Hereticus. A second book, Innocence proves Nothing, will follow 02/09. I have ordered Scourge the Heretic but i think it will take some time to get it.

Re: The Grey Knight Novels - Ben Counter
The first two are a definite 'must' read. Even though it's killing me, I'm holding off on reading Hammer because I know I'll be bummed when there won't be another GK novel to read after it. I was really surprised how good an author Counter was considering I wasn't impressed with the writing in other 40K novels I've read. He has a nice pace that builds up the excitement and does a good job describing the mayhem and carnage of battle.

Re: The Grey Knight Novels - Ben Counter
I REALLY enjoyed the GK novel trilogy. They were great!!!
The second novel Dark Adeptus was the weaker of the three in my opinion. But Grey Knight, and Hammer of Daemons more than make up for it!!!
I will not say anything further about these novels because I do not want to spoil anything for you.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I did
I have also really enjoyed Ben Counters other work.
Happy reading

I enjoyed all three but agree Dark Adeptus was the weakest.
I have to say I have also enjoyed any book with the Space Marines in and would say try to give them all a read at some point.

I would recommend holding off on getting the novels for a bit (GASP)
They are bringing out an omnibus edition with all 3 book in it soon.

Go for it. Most of the info is a result of reading everything that gets sent to us, asking the right questions and a casual disregard for keeping the good stuff to myself.

Nooo! Then I'd need to find another Archivest, and Snowfire's skills and knowledge are second to none. Although I'm sure he could be a spy and keep his Archivest duties?

And my avatar I pinched off the net is supposedly going to be the cover of the omnibus. Think I already mentioned that before though. I'm just hoping for rumors of Mr. Counter doing a fourth GK novel.

Re: The Grey Knight Novels - Ben Counter
I recently bought the Grey Knight Omnibus, and after reading it through I found myself re-reading it over again. It is truly an epic masterpiece, and all Grey Knight fans should read it.
Alaric, the protagonist of the story, is such a likable character. He really evolves over the course of the three books, but holds true to his duty and what it means to be a Grey Knight. There were no dull parts in the story, and it certainly kept me going and page turning till I finished it.
You'll find yourself reciting "I am the hammer, I am the gauntlet above his fist..." over and over again by the end. It's also a fantastic look into the Grey Knights themselves and their base, their prayers and rituals, etc.
I pray that Ben Counter does another book for it, as Hammer of daemons really left me feeling good. Perhaps its best to leave it at an end for Justicar Alaric, but I'd love to see him write more about Grey Knights.

How could you have the entire prayer? In his books they for some reason pray a different version when it's the next book.

The omnibus is what brought me here, reading about the unwavering loyalty and faith of the Grey Knights is inspiring. Sometimes I wonder though if someone actually started a legitimate religion based on the Emperor and whatnot how many of us would be willing to follow it?
