All Grey Knight 1500 points Army

Okay this is my current Grey Knights list (I had several revisions over the years) after several games it comes out as quite the success.

Headquarters:
A Brother Captiain with sacred inscence and holocaust protected by four additional Terminators (one of which has an incinerator)
Troops:
three eight-man grey knights in power armour led by a justicar with a targeter
Fast Attack:
Eight grey knights in power armour (one is armed with an incinerator) led by a justicar with a targeter
Heavy Support:
A land Raider Crusader with a blessed hull

I'm waiting for october when the new marine stuff comes out so I can update some that are listed here such as the land raider but it should look rather intimidating then!

Looks good and 'assaulty'. Lots of GK's for 1500 points. Do you use assault-type tactics for them? May I suggest to drop Blessed on your LRC and give one of your Justicars a teleport homer instead? I'm finding the homer very useful when grabbing an objective and calling my GKT's in for support. It would be handy since you have 2 deep-striking units. Just a thought.

What is your BC armed with? Psycannon, SB with Psycannon ammo......?

I like to keep my hq's either simple or specific to a combat role, the brother-captain's role would be "Hard & Fast" being that with the sacred inscence he will surely strike faster than his opponents and the holocaust is for good measure. Another route I could have gone were to have a captain with the Thunderhammer and Storm Shield combo in addition to having the destroy daemon psychic power. After the first flourish you don't want a second round!

It really sounds like you have found a style of play you are comfortable playing with and that works for you Brother Andarius.

Yes I do but it may be a day or so.

Well got the new stuff and the crusader looks lovely but I'm wondering if maybe I should switch the assault squad with either a pair of dreadnoughts or a terminator squad with thunderhammer/storm shields.

It all depends on what you prefer for models, what kind of missions you play, and who against. Do you need to occupy areas of the table,or destroy things from up close or far away

From a fluff perspective Dreads should be kept to a minimum, I wouldn't go over two.
But customized GKT squads are cool , but then again so are assault GKs! LOL

Well I've made my decision, asault terminators all the way. There's something classy and appealing about "smash and bash", I've already got the parts in mind and maybe I'll post images of my mrkII army list too.

Yes, Termies are a good choice. Not only for their combat worth but also the 'psyche-out' value they bring to your opponent. At both tournies I've been to there's always been talk among other players on the effectivenesss of my Termies. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

How are they all going to be equiped. Thunder Hammer and Shield, Lightening Claw, or something special?
Which parts are you considering?

Thunder hammers and storm shields, gives me the needed punch against tanks and heavy infantry. Not to mention the stun effect to the hammers are very useful!
