True, I forgot about sanct. All the more important to give them warding staves for a 4++ and ram them into melee, they suck at melee as all PAGKs do now, the purifyer damage comes from mortal wounds and those are only cast in melee.

Any other scenario and you basically pin a unit with 30p marines in a shooting match vs general units of 13p marines and both die just as easy.

I think GKs work best when gate is used to its best effect meaning big transports that make gate redeploy multiple units with one psychic power. My games go best when using a landraider as multi unit transports and a lot of small stormbolter squads as filler but I love to experiment.

The glass half filled mentality comes from irritation over blatant misses that could easily be avoided. Itīs so damn pointless.

Do you think this is legal? Grand Master with Purge Soul. Give him the +1 leadership warlord trait. And then set him next to two brotherhood ancients for 2 more leadership. Totaling 12 leadership. At that point your already leading most other HQs by 3 with the cap on stat lines removed. If I missed something please point it out

You are going to be killing 4-5 cultist models with your beefed up mortal wound smites. Nobody is going to put abaddon right in front of your super smite GM.

How many points does that ancient+GM combo really cost?

With teleport assault you won't be giving them much choice. Just teleport 9 inches away. Purge Soul has a range of 12. And I'll admit a good chunk of points before you even start worrying about a bubble wrap unit. Not saying it's practical just wanted to see if I was wrong in thinking that the buffs stack.
