Antwyr's blade

Post by Aubec le noir on Thu May 05, 2016 4:23 am

Hi brothers
Reading again our present codex it appears to me the similitudes in shape at least between Antwyr's blade and Archaon's blade ...
What is your opinion ? Do you think they are the same blade ?

I mean they could be the same. It's not like a deamonblade couldn't change shape. especially if it was a deamonblade with a Lord of Change.

Well, it's a sword. Both being straight dual edge swords.
So in that regard they are similar.

I was going more on the shape and amount of prongs and/or spikes on the sides of it.
And also the guard.

So, time for a check.
I'll bring in old school Archaon, new Archaon and of course Cally Crowe.

The blade has similarities, undeniably, the old metal motel and the new Crowe that is.
The only main difference being the runes and the flame thingy.
On the new Archo blade, nah. Not similar.

Another thing i'd say differs from the old Archo sword and Antwyr is the direction the prongs on the guard points.

But then again, those differences could be explained with CHAOS!
Is there a story reason to support this?
Haven't read the new fluff.

maybe Nurgle commanded Chris Chan and Sonichu managed to teleport one to the old world copy the Slayer of Kings but it was unsuccessfully reshaped as the blade of Antwyr with Chris Chan bound to the blade.

I don't think he CAN let it go, the blade has a mind and will of its own... Kind of like the one ring of Sauron. Its pretty much glued itself to his hand trying (and failing might I add) to corrupt Crowe with every waking second to use its power or find someone nearby who's dumber and less pure of heart to latch onto once Crowe kicks the bucket.

The blade is indestructible to boot (just like the one ring) so tossing it into a black hole... Might make it EAT the black hole! Its Chaos after all...

So it's not a good idea to throw the sword WITH the good marine into the black hole together with his horrible fluff?

It might just be me.
Yeah sorry, i need to let go of this gripe of mine. Neutral
