" what do you propose Brother?" the Brother Captains voice was grave, as if he already knew the answer. +++ the way is clear brother we cannot contain this threat ourselves and the 3rd Brotherhood will not arrive in time. this system is lost, our only chance is to deny it to the enemy. I propose exterminatus of the system+++ Martel's mind-voice was firm now, decided. " Captain Niden will never agree to this brother, he will try to stop us. +++ we cannot contain the threat. the system is lost he must be eliminated. we must declare Exterminatus, Deny the enemy this system. +++ " I agree brother", By the Emperors Grace we are the hammer....

The plan... the dreadknights will start on the board and using the Rites of teleportation the strike squads will  combat squad and by the Emperors will deepstrike turn one. the dreadknights will shunt or jump to support them. the terminators will come in next turn using the strikes homing beacons for better accuracy , i still need to spend the other 150 points and don't know where to place martel or the Brother captain. i'm thinking martel can hopefully deepstrike the purifiers using the Gate of infinity power ( if i have it) the Brother Captain will roll on Telepathy? ( so he has warp shriek) while martel will roll 3 times on sanctic and once on Divination  the game will be a multiple objective game.I would Dearly appreciate Input Brothers,

hmmm let me see here.....

I like the list so far. Some suggestions though. I think the Terminators and Dreadknights should be using the Psycannons as their special weapon. It handles both horde and light vehicles very well (I can speak from experience here) and one of our few methods of dealing with heavy vehicles at range.

I'd also give the Strike Squads 1 hammer each, it would allow them more options on who they attack. Even a mighty Landraider will feel a STR 10 AP 2 hit. If you combat squad all the time this may mean a second hammer though.

As for Martel and Aurllian I'd say put like with like. Stick them one and one with each of the Terminator Squads. If you went fluffy with placement I'd say stick Martel with Squad Aleric (loved those books especially Dark Adeptus.) Game wise it would make any quad Martel joined a rolling ball of death, Reroll to Hits from Divination and the possibility of a +1 to their invul save is a nice, nice thing to envision.

As for Aurllian's powers Telepathy would serve you well. Warp Shierk as the Primaris power would aid you well against infantry. And the other power you roll may just aid you as well. Play a few games, study the Lores, think about your fluff and find what works best for you. IMHO best way to pick a Discipline.

I've Decided that forming the strike squads into 5 man units one with the Incinerator to ensure the utter devastation of enemy infantry and the other with the hammer to take down any enemy Armour or more elite infantry is the best choice for now.
A flaw with the other list was also that my Purifiers were simply too slow in a much more speedy army and I've decided to Make Brother Aurllian  the warlord just to take some pressure off martel ( as hes already a huge threat being a Lvl 4 librarian) even though in fluffyness Gl Martel holds a more senior position to that of Aurllian. martel will reside in Squad Aleric ( and Yes the justicar is *That* Aleric) I've decided to keep one Psilencer simply to trial the new rules and because with Aurillians Soul Glave the Unit should always pass and have Force active. Martel will keep to his prior Psychic choices while Aurllian will now be rolling on Divination ( in the hopes of the 4++, and giving a unit of GK Terminators Reroll to hit Twisted Evil  ) although I'm not sure How to spend the last few points I could take the Razar Back or I could Give each terminator team an extra Terminator with halberd???

I like the list, very solid in terms of weapon options and deployment, my only nit-pic is the weapon choice for the razorback. For the same amount of points you could get either the twin-linked lascannon or twin-linked assault cannon. But then again the lascannon and twin-linked plasma rifle has its uses on the field and should be interesting to see how it performs.

I'm still not overly sold on having a razarback at all.... I play tau so I find rhino and razarbacks more of an insult then much else as I can pop them open at will. I've thought about its weapon choice and I'm not sure what would be best. I think maybe the assault cannon or the lascannon and plasma. for if the lascannon only glances the plasma guns might still destroy it.

I could just replace the Razerback with two Terminators with halberds and Give GL Martel a stormbolter instead?

That may be a better option since your strike squads can deep strike, making the need for a transport unnecessary.

I think two teams of six would be better then a single 8 man group. Main reason being: your opponent will have to split his fire.

I was hoping Horus was a fig newton of my imagination......

Justicar Horus is indeed a living Grey Knight, He is the Longest serving Justicar in the 8th Brotherhood and has never failed in his duty. as a theme for my Grey Knights i want some to have names of legendary heros and even Primarchs just to show that we are Grey Knights.
