Fear to Tread.

I just finished reading fear to tread. Have any of ou read this book, and if so what did you think?

I read it some time ago. I loved it. Personally it was a book I was never board with. It gave a great insight to the Blood Angels back at the peak of their brilliance. As noble warriors almost without peer. Rather then the still noble but shadowed chapter they have become. I especially loved the interaction between Horus and Sanguinius. Struck me as the witty banter brothers would have.

"Don't make me clip those wings!"

Perish the thought. Then I'd only be as hansom as you."

"Now that would be tragic." (my paraphrased version) lol

Agreed, it was a fun read.
I was struck at the apparent level of animosity shown chaplains in the novel.

On the topic of Brothers, I really gained a great deal of insight into the level of rage and sorrow felt by Sanguinius as he learned of Horus' betrayal.

I am looking forward to the next novel in the series.

Indeed shows that Chaplains were not readily welcomed, especially by the Libbies they were tasked with watching.

No lie. He had nothing short of a mental breakdown when that happened. Then he came back and whooped the shit out of a daemon  

Fear to Tread was okay.
Believe me when i say you will love Know no Fear, Butcher´s Nails, Betrayer, Mark of Calth, Censure. In this order. All those books and audiobooks are around the UM and the battle for Calth/Ultramar. KnF, Betrayer and Angel Exterminatus are the best books in the whole HH series. Angel Exterminatus is a stand-alone. I loved them all.
