Transports in the 6th edition

I want to ask you all your opinions and advice regarding the use of transports in the 6th edition.

With the introduction of hull points etc, are transports as necessary/useful as in the previous edition?

I only ask as I'm considering adding a chimera to my small army to house a OMI, psykers and WA with plasma guns:)

mobility is always an adavntage.
With the 6th edition it's nearly paramount, especially for us that run middle-field armies... with all those shots and plasmas all around we have to be very fast to take objectives or to be in our shooting range (24") or even go in cc.
Yes imho vehicles are important indeed even in 6th ! Twisted Evil

So how do people rate the Chimera vs the Rhino vs the Razorback?

I was thinking to use a Chimera to house my OMI, psykers and WA with plasma's. Is this a valid setup? I just like Inquisitors and their retinues and Chimeras! I just think they bring some cool flavor to the GK!

They are all different things, and it depends on what you want out of it, if the squad is there to get into hand to hand then take a land raider, if it needs fire ports then it is a rhino or chimera, if you want an extra gun then you are looking for a razorback, all options are good to provide line of sight blocking. For the squad you have then I would go the chimera as it has more fire ports then a rhino.
