Hello!! and What say YOu??

Hello brothers and well met!! New recruit here and I can't tell you how good it feels to be among your fellow battle brothers

A small introduction of myself (i know boring so I 'll keep it short) ..Walking upon the hard soil of this planet for 26 whole years (a couple of them crouching really ) never got the chance of being introduced in wargaming until I watched my mentor (sadly or not a space wolf player) crushing his archenemy's army of Chaos Space Marine in the fields of constant battle (our local store actually ) ..I was until then just another RPG (mostly fantasy) player but then I got this awkward feeling in my stomach and realized that I had to eat something ANYWAY
that's how I introduced to 40k both game and story novels and since then I play with my knights to glorious battles

As for the game itself (40k) I have some specifics as a player witch I ought to share with you:
a) I like to play pure Grey Knights army and not Inquisitorial lists .. Alright I maybe add Coteaz or Ordo Malleus in termie armor in my list but that's as far I like to go with pure Inquisition ,a! I don't have any problem with the assassins so a Vindicare is also another model I like to add

b)I don't know what's happening with me but I guess every family has its black sheep and I hope someone here will understand at least and not necessarily agree to this next statement : "I don't like Dredknights"

other than that I think I'm a regular brother at arms

Now I like to share with you my in-development list and if someone can share any thoughts or suggestions through constructive criticism I 'll appreciate.

2000 point list (I intent to take part at a campaign next month and these are the maximum points game)

Hq:

Grand master w/ sword + storm bolter 175
Ordo malleus Inq w/ termie armor + thunder hammer + phycannon + psyker lvl 1 110

Troops:

10x Terminators w/ 5x halberds + 3x swords + 2x hammers + 2x psycannons + psybolt ammo 470
10x Strike Squad w/ 7x swords + 1x hammer + 2x psycannons + psybolt ammo 250
10x Strike Squad w/ 7x swords + 1x hammer + 2x psycannons + psybolt ammo 250

Elites:

10x Purifier Squad w/ 5x halberds + 1x sword + 4x psycannons 290
1x Vindicare assassin 145

Heavy Support:

1x Dreadnought w/ 2x Twin-linked autocannons + psybolt ammo 135
1x Dreadnought w/ 2x Twin-linked autocannons + psybolt ammo 135

Dedicated transport:

1x Rhino w/ storm bolter 40

For tactics I generally have the termies combat squad half of them with Grand-Master (combat oriented unit which Deep Strikes) the others (2x psycannons) with malleus for 3x relentless psycannons with re-rolls walking around the table . In Rhino I get a Strike squad or Purifiers depending enemy and scenario

another thought is to add a Librarian w/ sword + strom bolter + might of titan + summoning (160points) and in that case I like to add 1x Dreadnought w/ Twin-linked heavy flamer + Close combat weapon + flamer + warp stabilisation field (135 points) but I don't know what I should leave behind (meaning witch Hq and then witch other unit(s) )

For your information in the campaign there would be little or maybe not at all flyer units so no worries there

I do love pure GK lists too !
you have already a stronglist, but if i have to choose i would prefer the libbie instead of the OMI (personal preferences here! )

A strong, varied list - I like it.

My only concern is a lack of transports, do you intend to deepstrike the Strike Squads?

If so you might find servo skulls useful, the OMI can have 3

Or do you plan to outflank? As I feel this is the main benefit the GM brings to this list (where you already have a reasonable amount of scoring bodies.)

I too prefer better the Librarian as I'm trying to go pure Grey Knights and also I'm intrigued with the things he can add to the list!

Meaning I have to find 50 more points in order to include him, now I'm thinking that if I take out the rhino (40) + 1x psycannon in purifier squad adding a flamer (which is free) (10) I 'll be able to find these extra 50 points but by doing this I'll trade 2x psycannons (1x relentless) and my only transportation ..mmmm okay since I can cope with it (meaning less shooting but more tactical choices + a bit more close combat oriented list) but then something inside me tells me I ought to add this close combat + flamers Dreadnought (I like close combat Dreadnoughts a lot you see ) and now I'm thinking : should it take Vindicare's position which also going to give me 2x servo skulls (145 vs 135 points) + going "pure" GK or just trade it for one of the Psyflemen??

This is what I really like to play actually, my question is do you believe I have same chances of victory (cause pleasure of just playing the game is guaranteed ) with these changes? any other suggestions about the above?

And one question I have , after thanking you about bringing up the outflank rule, ..emm.. if my reinforcements arrive and I have outflank (via Grand-master) and say they're arriving from left side of the table do they still have to come from the edge of my deployment zone or I can bring 'em from dead zone or even my enemy's deployment zone??
