Re: Help vs doommarch Neceons
Welcome to the forums Brother!
Right off the bat, I would recommend downgrading the venerable psyfleman dreads to regular psyfleman dreads. With the advent of hull points, the venerable re-rolls are not that crucial anymore--doesn't help you with glancing hits. And unless you're getting hit by AP1 or AP2 weapons, penetrating hits only have a 16.6% of destroying. This will free up 130pts?
Enjoy your stay!

Re: Help vs doommarch Neceons
Welcome on board brother !
First 2 remarks :
1- would you Please remove the individual points of your list because GW is a little ichy with that one !
2- a small presentation would be highly appreciated !
About the list : too much cheesy units and not enough scoring units imho : 450 points + 1 to 3 scoring units depending your GM is somewhat hazardous

Re: Help vs doommarch Neceons
I think you need more boots on the ground, there's only so many 2+ saves you can make and each casualty will hurt you.
I agree with Rivan however I'd drop the ven dreads altogether. I'd also give the GM his sword back (he'll still have a 3++ save in CC and will save you 35 points!) and drop the Librarian as well... Might seem mad but leaves you with over 600 points to play with! You could get another 10 terminators + something or 20 marines with transports and in both cases you will most possibly end up with points to spare for upgrades across the board.
If you either get the additional terminators or strike squads then you will have at least 4 scoring units to start with which is much better and means you can do interesting things like giving your dreadknights scout to get them closer to the action. What you probably could do is if you went for the terminators is take an Inquisitor in Terminator Armour with a Psycannon and Hammer for less than 100 points...

Re: Help vs doommarch Neceons
If I was going down this route, I'd go Paladins personally or two large Terminator units. The Vindicare is firstblood bate, I like the idea of the Libby, but Coteaz is better, I also like the idea of Dreads AND Dreadknights, I've run similar lists with good results.
I'd be tempted by:
GM - Psycannon, Rad G'nades
Coteaz
Ven Dread - 2 autocannons, psybolt - 195
10 Terminators - 2 Psycannons, Psybolt - 470
10 Terminators - 2 Psycannons, Psybolt - 470
Dreadnought - 2 autocannons, psybolt - 135
Dreadknight - 235
Dreadknight - (just the hvy incinerator) 160
Gives you 2 scoring units that can split into 4 + the additional scoring units from the GM, plus a better psyker.

Re: Help vs doommarch Neceons
If you're playing against necron warriors interceptors with incinerators give you a good chance of wiping out units. If it's all immortals I wouldn't bother so much.

Re: Help vs doommarch Neceons
The list is up to you, it will depend on the models you have, but never try to talor a list to fight another army, you should make a good all round list, personlay I would look to have at least 40 marine bodies in the form of Strike or interceptors (2x10 and 2x10 is where I would go), a hammer in each squad, psybolts, heavy weapons are up to you. This would be the back bone of the force and depending on how you armed them, you now need to decide on what you need from the rest of the army.
If you went for just storm bolters then you will need the auto cannon dreads, if you went psy cannons then they are not as important, if incins then I would look into dreadkinghts to back them up. Grand master is a must, he was made for this edition, coteaz not so much. Dreadkinghts without jump pack make me sad (not fast enough). Ven Dreads make me sad as well (to many points).
For the strike squads you now have the option of rhinos or razorbacks, rhinos if 2 psy cannons, razorbacks if not, razorbacks then have the option of their weapons, the ones that stand out for me are the H.Bolter, the T L Las or the las plas, will all depend on the rest of your army, if you have lots of S5 shots from the rest of the army then H.Bolters (even at S6) are not the way to go, if you need anti tank then T L Las is the go for you, and then the las plas is there for takeing down marines and other terminators, but I think that volume of fire will get you over the line.
