Hi there, it's me again with another waky list. The idea is hitting the opponent hard, very early so as to disrupt his strategy with lots of bodies very close. So here's the list:

GM Mordrak
5x Ghost Knights (2xSword, 2xHalberd, 1xNDH)
Librarian (Warp Rift, The Summoning, 2x ServoSkulls)

10x GK Strike Squad (2xPsycannon, Psyboltammo)
10x GK Strike Squad (2xPsycannon, Psyboltammo)
10x GK Interceptor Squad (2xPsycannon, Psyboltammo)

2x Nemesis DreadKnight (NGS, Heavi Incinerator)

So on turn 1 I can get 3 heavy hitters behind enemy lines, or at least very close. Warp Rift takes care of MC's, Vehicles, and dangerous units. The summoning brings another unit near the librarian (NDK for units in Cover, Strike Squad if firepower is needed), and Interceptors follow suit with his 30" shunt.

Now I've played this list twice and did pretty well enough, one agains Tau and the other against SM (both wins). Actually I didn't expect it to go well since I made it for casual play (not that I want to win in casual play but you know what I mean). So now I come to you brothers to hear your advice on improving this list and make it more "competitive" (if there is such a thing in 40K).

Any advice is most welcome!

I love the idea of this - I play 1999 pts and have been thinking of this for a while: I think it might need the Libby with warp rift though like your list.

I like this list a lot - I'm glad you posted it because it's very similar to what I will be trying out soon. I'm probably going to try a mix of termies and SS, and no interceptors. Yeah the 2+ save is nice, but relentless psycannons is nicer Twisted Evil

I will definitely be taking Summoning which will leave the shunt on my (hopefully scoring) NDK's available to contest/claim objectives late game.

Termies instead of ss mean even less boots on the ground, but any alpha strike list is risky, and since I'm not into competitive gaming I like the prospect of either obliterating everything in turn 1 or getting shot to pieces if it doesn't work! xD

Yeah, I tried with termies, but the list looses punch, since for 5 termies you get 2 psycannons and 10 men.

On the other hand I like the idea of 2 Interceptor squads, but I don't seem to find the points combo to fit them in. I will soon post an alternative list.
