Deathwatch
Here's a basic overview of what my 40k RP group has accomplished in it's run. That is sadly drawing to a close
(in the order I remebered them in)
Stared down a whole Waaagh of Orks
Awakened a sleeping Titan that dates back to the dark age of technology
killed 2 deamon princes
killed 25 Chaos Space Marines
killed 200 Chaos cultists
killed 500 Tau
destroyed 15 Tau Armor
Captured a Vindicare Assassin, Deamon Prince, Heretical Inquisitor (all alive)
Found Vulcan's Armor
Earned the Loyalty of 4 Space Marine Chapters (with 2 to go)
plan to take control of the Red Thirst
became allies with an Ent
killed a Thunder Warrior
adapted Tau Pulse weapons to Astartes standards
Acquired a cache of weapons from the Omega Vault
freed a thriving space port from Chaos Control
killed 600 Renegade Guardsmen
Destroyed 16 Valkyries/Vendettas
Destroyed 8 Basilisks
Destroyed 12 Leman Russ'
Honors earned: 4 Crux Terminatus, an Iron Halo, 5 sets of Artificer Armor, 3 appointments to first company, 1 appointment to the Epistolary, places of Honor in the Deathwatch records, and 1 Captaincy of their home Chapter's 10th Company.

Re: Deathwatch
it seems you were busy !!
What was the composition of your DW kill team ?
Who were you ?
I, as you can't play a GK in Deathwatch, made the nearest character : i play a Librarian from the Exorcist Chapter... and i enjoy it !!

Re: Deathwatch
Actually I'm the GM . First time GMing for me so it's been a learning experience.
Well you can. Dark Hersey Deamon Hunter expansion has the rules for it and there are rules in Deathwatch Rites of Battle for bringing Dark Hersey into Deathwatch.
Kill Team Xiphos
Watch-Captain Agathon of the Sons of Antaeus. Tactical Marine wielding the power swords Romulus and Remus
Breaker of the Blood Angels Chapter. Assault Marine wielding the mighty power Claymore (I forget the name)
Ryze of the Salamaders. Devastator Marine wielding the Thunder Hammer Glamdring
Bather of the Dark Angels. Apothecary wielding the Falchion (I forget the name also)
Ignatius of the Blood Angels. Epistolary Librarian wielding the force scythe Tim the Purger of the Unclean (I know not the most normal of 40k weapon names but it's my girlfriends character and I let her name the weapon )

Re: Deathwatch
lol I tried but the man wont say anything.
Kind of a cop out to simply go "we found a strange pod, we think it can cure the red thirst."

Re: Deathwatch
imho to overcome the red thrist pass by some spiritual/psy bocal ordeal(s), not only the founding of an archeotechnological genetic artifact !!
Because the red thrist is the trauma of the ancient memory of Sanginius Death.
And if you dig enough i think you could find descriptions of how Mephiton won against it !

Re: Deathwatch
I shall have to. Although I did find this. Interesting, but the price is a turn off.

Re: Deathwatch
agreed hard to tell given that most of them have either been killed or have gone into exile.
