Jokaero Inconceivable Customisation Questions? Empty Jokaero Inconceivable Customisation Questions?

Just a few questions that I'm uncertain about

3. Reinforced Armour - does this affect Invulnerable Saves? If I get this result and have, for example, an Arco Flagellant who has no armour, do they gain a 6+?

Are Daemonhosts Daemonic Powers 5 and 6 affected by, for example, Penetrating Ammunition and Unholy Gaze affected by Improved Gun Sights

If I get Reinforced Armour, I'm presuming that a 4+ save which becomes 3+ is only affected by AP: 3 weapons?

Reinforced armour only effects armour saves. Specifically says so in the codex. And yes the arco gets a 6 plus armour save.

No the daemon host does not get the bonus to range because he actually has no ranged weapon. He can make a ranged attack, out of his hands and eyes. No actual gun to upgrade.

I don't get what your asking? Isn't it obvious, if you have a 3+ armour save. Only ap3 or ap2 & 1 can ignore it?

I wasn't sure if the save actually became a 3+ or was a 4+1 - if it was 4+1, AP4 would still deny a save, if it becomes 3+ then AP4 won't affect the save

There was another one - oh yes, extending the range, does that affect Rapid Fire and Melta special rules?

I'm sorry for all the questions, I've only ever played Tyranids before - all these new rules are confusing me!

Yes it will affect rapid fire and melta since both of those are related to the max range, which has now been increased. eg boltguns will be able to fire 2 shots at 18" or less.

actually its 17" or less. 50% of 34 is 17 Razz

By the same token of Jokaero not affecting Daemonhosts for their shooting attacks, the same argument can be applied to the weapons used by the Jokaero themselves...

Jokaero don't affect daemonhosts because they only have a shooting attack with a weapon like profile. Jokaero digital weapon on the other hand specifically say they are fired as the particular weapon in question, so I'd say they are affected by their own rules.

That's correct bigbri, the daemon hosts have attack profiles where as the jakero as using a lascannon profile. Ok so lascannon, I know that's 48" range, so +6" etc.etc.

The codex can't do everything you want, if it did, I'd have termies with storm shields and a gun on their right arm with a weapon like draigo.
