the idea is to run coteaz w the plasma for divintion, and omi with other plasma crew, 6 troops scoring 3 heavy 1 elite and 3 HQ

I've also been using Eldar Pathfinders with my lists. Since you can't cast Fortune on any GKs, and since the snipers and Farseer will have a 2+ cover (they're in a ruin, right??? and attaching the IC to the Pathies gives him the same awesome cover save), re-rolling saves isn't that important. Give him Guide for 20 pts and swap it for Divination primaris. Twin-linked snipers is fantastic, especially when it's shooting at flyers. ALSO, don't forget Runes of Warding. 15 pts to screw over all enemy psykers? This is the whole reason I take Eldar allies!

Forget fortune, or any other eldar psychic power. Cast invisibility and give your army a 4++ against shooting. yikes!

I don't have the eldar codex in front of me so...I'm assuming runes of warding specifically says "enemy psykers?" Because if not, it screws up your inquisitors too.

IF you roll that, and IF you want to spend the add'l points to make your Farseer lvl 2 (since it's WC2). Also, it can only be cast on the Pathfinders, who should have a 2+ cover save already, either in ruins or behind a defence line.

Not worth it unless you're playing Eldar. Prescience is much better.

Of course, no one said getting a 4++ for the entire army was easy.

Why would you take ruins of warding.... When you ally with grey knights... For the perposes of allying. We count as "enemies".

Hmmm, that's correct. I just looked it up and "Allies of Convenience" are treated as enemy units that cannot be targeted--so runes of warding will also affect allied GKs.
