Brotherhood Champion - 5 points spare
I have 5 points spare for a list tomorrow - I'm torn between giving my Brotherhood Champion psybolt ammo or digital weapons.
Can you please provide your opinions on these choices
I won't be changing my HQ choice, unless someone can provide a definitive Inquisitor choice that I can field, I'm just looking for advice on the options of psybolt and digital weapons
Although, thinking about it...I might run Coteaz...

Ordo malleus inquisitor in TDAwith psyker upgrade (take prescience) daemon hammer and psycannon, with servo skulls.
Or Ordo Xenos inquisitor with psyker upgrade (take prescience) with PA, plasma syphon, rad grenades. And some servo skulls or any other grenade you want.
Both options are better the the brotherhood champion imo

Well given one of those upgrades(digital weapons) literally does nothing for a Brotherhood Champion I'd say it's an easy question lol
Also Coteaz and the malleus Gm mentioned by Arratak are waaaaay better. Brotherhood Champions are essentially worthless in 6th edition with the inclusion of prescience and the changes to psychic hoods.

digital weapons of course. nothing is better than extra *bling bling* on the battlefield. even though it has no use

If you have a second character you'd possibly be better off with a servoskull rather than a psyammo upgrade. Or maybe mastercraft a justicar weapon somewhere?
The champion is useful for challenges because his defensive skills either shut down the enemy HQ or possibly eliminate them with heroic sacrifice.
Also, Herald of Titan always works, there's no 1 in 12 chance of failure. I'd say he's a secondary option if you want to be competitive, but he has character and makes a good bodyguard for another HQ choice what with the challenges and interventions.
He actually seems to operate as the background suggests in that regard.

Coteaz can still have a place in a GK army, he provides several boons to the squad he joins.
But he does work better adding cheap troops.

I like the BC, is a great Cheap HQ. Much better in 6th. Look out Sir, and his ability to reroll failed saves make him a wound sponge, almost impossible to kill. Moreover, attach him to a hard hitting unit and watch the unit survive AP1 wounds over and over again.
Anways, no need for Psybolt ammo or diital weapons on the BC, as others said use those points elsewhere.
