++Tau Empire-Chosen Ones?++

Brothers i have heard rumors about the xeno race known as Tau. being believed to be chosen warriors against the warp due to there lack of Psychics. by some of the more fanatical Chapters some even allying with them?. and now with the change in combat doctrine (Warhammer 40k 6th ed rulebook) that space marines are battle brothers with this Xeno: Tau, does any one have any more info?

it's the ally thing ... it bothers me a little .. but i find my way : no ally, at least no xenos allies !
btw : yes the Tau have nearly no image in the warp... and no psyker too !

Don't have my book with me but will look it up and give it to you after the weekend, you should be able to find it in the book. From the rules perspective tau and grey knights can play together, just not as battle brotheres, which means that you can make an army with both, takeing 1 hq from each force and 2 troops from your primary army and 1 troop from the seckondary, Hq's cannot join units from the other race.

allies are explained on page 112. on page 113 is the allies chart.

I'l tell you the two truths.

The Tau have little to no image in the warp. They are hard to corrupt and have little understanding of this chaos thing. This explains why they don't have warp drives for example.

The ally chart sucks something inappropriate and hard and is generally one of the most stupid things this decade. DO NOT take it to serious if you respect any fluff from.... ever i suppose. Since the chart is completely stupid.
I think they got the basic tyranids are no ones friend and chaos and grey knights are not pals right. EVERYTHING ELSE is wrong. For example black templars and sisters of battle. The templars wear the SOB marking to honor them, they have the same ideals and generally the same goal.

Just think for a second about it, and stop thinking about it. To think about that is not good for ones health.
