1850 GK-Nec

Well.. I had some games with my Nec-GK army and now IM heading for an army that'll be able to compete with tournament-lists (well, i dont think i'll win, but i dont want to be an easy-win for them^^). So I ended up using this list:

10 Terminatoren, 6 x Nemesis-Psischwert, 1 x Nemesis-Psihellebarde, 2 x Nemesis-Dämonenhammer, 7 x Sturmbolter, 2 x Psibolter
+ Upgrade zum Justicar, Nemesis-Psihellebarde, Sturmbolter -> 0 Pkt.

due to point problems without psi-ammo, depending on the enemy, theyll DS or start at the field..

Angriffstrupp
10 Grey Knights, 6 x Nemesis-Psischwert, 1 x Nemesis-Dämonenhammer, 7 x Sturmbolter, 2 x Psibolter
+ Upgrade zum Justicar, Nemesis-Psihellebarde, Sturmbolter -> 5 Pkt.

due to point-problems, without psi-ammo, but with two psi-bolters..

the suqad for the IOM

together with a stormtec in each squad and a nightscythe they'll be easily where i need them, just in case, the scarabs wont make it there also with this mobility, they'll be able to grab some objectives that are far off the rest of my army

with support of the spiders they should be another great help with dealing with mec-armys, after 2 turns there'll be 9 scarabs, enough to kill every tank or to take a nice unit of the enemy out of play for some time^^

Gesamtpunkte Grey Knights : 1850

Wellt, tactic is easy: drown the enemy in the scarabs (which will take some time..), so I need to push him towards me with coteaz and iom-squad. as soon as they reach the 24", the rest of the GK will join the firebattle. The Scythes should take care of of the backfield, Termis of the middfield and coteaz+iom should take care of my quarters...what do you say?

Nice list, The spiders are a really cheap option and you can get 3 for the support slot which is a bonus, a definate consideration for allies.

Love to hear how you do at the tournament

hopefully good, but on the next tournament im not allowed to bring in allys, so i'll play tyranids^^

another idea that came up my mind was to kick spiders+scarabs and to take tomb blades with particle-weapons and stealth.. 200p for 5 Models is quite expensive, but 1. they have T5 and get back up and 2. they have both speed and damage-ability to be worth it, I mean... 5 shots with 3" S6... as long as you are a marine you wont bother too much about it, since you have your 3+ (but since i wound on 2+, there should be enough saves to take so that even a marine would struggle) and as soon as your are a xenos you'll get in trouble, since they have their ap5, so they could also help me with dealing with mass-squads... need to check, but i think most of the time, the spiders will be better, though i'd like to give the blades a shot, since noone tried them in austria yet...could be a surprise Very Happy
