Hello guys i am working on a grey knights 1750 tournament army list, based on dreadknights and interceptors and i could really use some advise in order to improve it.

HQ
Coteaz - 100 pts

Malleus inquisitor, psyker upgrade - 55 pts

TROOPS
Henchmen squad 1 (with coteaz)- 145 pts
3 heavy bolter servitors
5 warrior acolytes, bolter
1 jokaero weponsmith
chimera multilaser/heavy bolter

Henchmen squad 2 (with inquisitor) - 90 pts
3 heavy bolter servitors
5 warrior acolytes, bolter
1 jokaero weponsmith

Henchmen squad 3 - 135 pts
3 warrior acolytes, plasma gun, carapace armor
5 warrior acolytes, bolter
chimera multilaser/heavy flamer

Henchmen squad 4 - 135 pts
3 warrior acolytes, plasma gun, carapace armor

i am planning to use divination - prescience in both coteaz and malleus inquisitor.

Like it but....

Join one of the interceptor squads together as a 10 man - you can always combat squad but this way you can use it together if you happen to play kill points. (personally I would run them cheaper - 1 x 10 man squad, no halberds, possibly psybolt instead - they are shooty not assaulty in my army)

What is the plan with the defence line? All your troops are in transports and with their great mobility your interceptors will find cover on their own. The quad gun is vulnerable to one good round of shooting so by itself doesnt constitute an air defence.

With the change to the nemesis doomfist ruling (now counting as strength 10) do you need to spend the extra on the swords on the Dreadknights? Yes it improves them but does it improve them enough for the points?

I would:
Drop the defence line
Drop the swords on the DK's
Change 3x5 interceptors to 1x10

Thats a loss of 5 men, two swords, a gun and some walls and saves you 330 points. You could do alot with that in a Cortaez build.

Just my preference, and I have a battle still on the table from last night (end of T4 and its going very badly) so what do I know!

i'm not found of mixed lists, i prefer a pure GK army (or a full human list), but that's just my taste... Suspect

I'm agree with brother Dom on this one :
you created a list based on mobility, why using an aegis defense ?
i agree with the DK and his now very effective 2 doomfists (though i must concede that the sword or hammer have more style ! Razz )
for the interceptor, anyway, even if i'll make a 10-men unit too, i would have give them incinerators instead of psycannons... more effective imho, but i would have kept the halberds because if they are taken in a cc fight you would be very happy to strike first ! Twisted Evil Razz

+1 to Brother DOM.
Swords are not worth the points in the NDK. The Interceptors should have swords only. For extra shooty fun you can buy them psybolt ammo.
Also, Jokaeros are nice but they are better off in pairs.
With the points saved you can add two more henchmen units to your army, or perhaps even some purifiers, or strike squads. Perhaps even keep the ADL.

thanks for the advise guys, i ll consider dropping the ADL and the swords from the DKs and add more henchmen
