Cool. Are these "novels" available in book form also?
My question was more directed towards whether the stories are good as opposed to the format.

No, only aviable as audiobooks. They are all around the founding of the Grey Knights, the absolute beginning. Listen to them and you can guess who the first GM had been. Each of them a bit longer then an Hour. Get them, you will not be disappointed.

I just noticed some new GK goodness!!! Due to the fact that GKs are playing a seemingly singnificant role in the Pandorax campaign, I am wondering if we are going to get any new FW models.....:

without spoiling i'd like to open a discussion about the Pandorax Novel - which is not bad by the way   - and precisely about the 2 or 3 last pages !  Â
the events described there let me totally devastated ! Â Â Â Â Â
This couldn't be let without retribution, such an Heresy is beyond everything i red in Black Library Novels !! Â Â Â Â Â
So do you think that  Dunn the writer, wrote this end to be in the right line with the CSM codex sold some months ago, or do you think that GW thinks about retconing the 10 000 years purity and uncorruptibility of our dear GKs !!  Â
do we have to lobby the BL studio or even GW ? Â Â Â
what do you think brothers ?

I guess a brother fell.
*Sigh*
Gw and its affiliates can't get anything right anymore. Even the models are getting more bland.
I guess you even wonder if Gw even proofreads its novels to check for fluff problems?

Re: Grey Knight Novels =][=
So I've just finished listening to Mortarion's Heart. My thoughts. (May contain minor spoilers)
Plot: Relatively basic. No great plot twists or grand revelations. But wasn't unimaginative or too basic.
- Rating: 5/10
Characters: The best part of the novel. The author IMHO wrote out some great banter, with the characters each being unique and with dept. For example Draigo at the start is a cocky mofo joking with his paladin bodyguard that they are to slow (the Paladins and 6th Brotherhoods Librarian laugh back but the guy is wielding a halberd so is walking around at INT 7 yeah they be slow), but by the end of the novel his has set that aside is is now focusing on his new duties. And there is also a -insert really rude expletive that starts with "D" and ends with Bag here- Inquisitor whose to high on his own ego. So Yeah I say good characters.
- Rating: 8/10
Misc: So the question about how Draigo's predecessors name is permanently inscribed on Mortation's heart is explained: makes sense to me. Geronitan died way to easily for my taste but not every one can solo a Primarch or have Eternal Warrior like Draigo. But in the end I wasn't left unsatisfied and enjoyed myself. It makes my recommended reading list.

I'd hate to say but here would be the plot of such a book.
"The black ships came. They took the kid. Dropped him off at Titan then went along their way to Holy Terra."
At most it be a short story about a inquisitor serving on the Black Ships who would have a premonition about the boy.

I just finished reading Pandorax and I must say it was not as good as I was hoping. Not nearly enough GK goodness. And that ending!!!! Are you kidding me!? They take one of the founding GK and do that to him? Very disappointed. How is he ever going to get out of that situation?!

so you see brother why i was choked !!
and i thought about that ... the moves of the GK founder could be known by his pilot/inquisition acolyte... and then interrogation of the Plague marines who lost that battle at the end could help Draigo to make a good guess to Abaddon intentions and of course the readings of the Warships trajectories (i assume that Abaddon's warship is a huge tainted Chaotic warship that lets a big mark on the materium when he goes back where he belongs ... the Warp !)
So 1+2+3 could help to know what happens to the Founder...
And Gks Prognosticars of course !!
My 2 cents

so yes !! ... i Think he makes a very big mark on the materium !!
btw knowing what happened and where was sent the Founder is just the first step !...
... after Gks have to extract him from a heavy-deep in the Eye of Terror-Chaotic-Heavily protected World !!
That could make a tremendous story !!

Good ideas.
Very disappointing novel though.
For me there was very little actual GK subject matter given the star studded cast of Draigo, Epimetheus, and Crowe. It really was more of an Inquisitorial/Dark Angels book. The author pretty much portrayed the GKs as powerless in the campaign, Draigo had no authority, the GK were used as distractions for the DA to get the job done, and one of the founding members was captured, despite being described as one of the most powerful psycher's ever... Ugh! He could read Azreal's me NDK from across a planet, but not see the trap with three blanks right in front of nt of him!?
Oh well, here's hoping the next novel to come out with GK in it is better.

very desappointing indeed !!
and from where are those creatures blanking the most powerful Psykers ever ?
it's seems to me too much of a Deus ex machina from the author to go where he wanted the story going ... i think he had a bias for the Chaos ... He's an Heretic !!
