Double FOC
I need some help
My Eldar playing brother has challenged me to a 3000pt, double force organisation chart blowout before I move abroad.
To this end I\'ve added a GM, TDA OMI (both with psycannon) and 10 Palladins to my existing 2000pt army to make up the difference. So the list looks like this:
GM, psycannon
OMI, terminator armour, hammer, psycannon (no psychic powers - runes of warding mean it probably wont be worth the points)
Crowe
10 Palladins, 4 psycannon
10 Purifiers, 2 psycannon, incinerator, hammer, 6 halberds, rhino
10 Purifiers, 2 psycannon, incinerator, hammer, 6 halberds, rhino
9 Purifiers, 2 psycannon, hammer, 6 halberds, rhino
10 Interceptors, 2 psycannon
Stormraven, multimelta, assault cannon
Dreadknight, heavy incinerator, personal teleporter
Dreadnought, 2 x TL autocannon, psybolt ammo
Dreadnought, 2 x TL autocannon, psybolt ammo
I would appreciate some criticism and suggestions, dropping the extra 1000pts on 12 models worries me but gives me grand strategy and allows me to deepstrike 2 psycannon heavy 6-man units to achieve the mission.
Im sure im missing a trick by not spamming certain units on the double FOC - as the list stands im only taking advantage of an extra HQ slot, what should I be using more of?
PS: I know Dreadknights are flavour of the month but im still getting more value for points out of the psydreads
PPS: Runes of warding will definately be in use so heavy reliance on psychic powers would be a mistake in my experience
What is the best Knights can do with 2 FOC's?

Re: Double FOC
I think you may be missing one more TR unit for 2 FOCs.
I like the list though.

Re: Double FOC
Haha - I totally overlooked that I need 4 compulsory troops choices with a double list!
Thanks for pointing out what should have been obvious
So I split the Purifiers up from 3 squads to 4, losing the incinerators.
7 Purifiers, 2 psycannon, hammer, 4 halberds, rhino
7 Purifiers, 2 psycannon, hammer, 4 halberds, rhino
6 Purifiers, 2 psycannon, hammer, 3 halberds, rhino
6 Purifiers, 2 psycannon, hammer, 3 halberds, rhino
Or
I change my GM to Draigo by fudging the Purifier numbers in my original list. But im reluctant to do that for the same reason im unwilling to change the Palladins to Terminators... I like the 6 relentless psycannons deepstriking in.

Re: Double FOC
I prefer splitting the Purifiers to form 4 squads. Definitely keep the Paladins IMO w/ the GM and the OMI.
