Mech 2000pt Grand Master List

I was trying to change my lists up a bit for an upcoming game i have against my friend who will either field necrons or blood angels and i was thinking of taking something like this up against him.

HQ:
Grandmaster w/ master crafted deamon hammer + psystroke grenades-200pts

Troops:
10 man strike squad w/ master crafted deamon hammer, 2x psycannons + rino- 275pts

10 man strike squad w/ master crafted deamon hammer, 2x psycannons + rino- 275pts

10 man strike squad w/ master crafted deamon hammer, 2x psycannons + rino- 275pts

5 man terminator squad w master crafted deamon hammer, 4x Falchions- 225pts

Heavy:

Nemesis Dreadknight w/ heavy incinerator, deamon hammer and teleporter- 245pts

Nemesis Dreadknight w/ heavy incinirator, deamon hammer and teleporter- 245 pts

Land raider Redeemer w/ psyflame ammo- 260pts

The Grandmaster is going to go into the terminator squad and they are going to go into the Redememer.
We are either gonna play kill points or capture and control, what do you guys think?

I think the price of the Raider is wrong and im not sure psyflame works on the redeemers weapons, I\'ve been wrong before though

Also giving the dreadknights hammers arent flavour of the month, most either go with the sword which is the best weapon or run it cheaper and get the extra attack from the fists

That sounds like a nasty list you have there Brother. I would have to agree with brother DOMIN4TRIX about the hammers though, if you could swords would be better. As for the LRR i think you made the right choice and i think that Psyflame ammo would benefit as it does work on the flamestorm cannons

I like the idea of a termie squad and a GM in the LRR as i have a LRR and use it for a 4 man pallie squad, Draigo and my libbie and if you get it to the front line of the enemy they dont stand a chance

Last time I met a Redeemer it won the game for the Space Wolf player in the final turn - a very usefull variant with that AP3 template

Have you considered Psybolt and a Multi-melta instead though for the same points?

I was thinking maybe i could drop one psycannon from each of the gk squads to fit the points for the great swords or i could either drop the psyflame ammo on the LRR and also drop the master crafting on the termie squad? what way do you think?

Nah i didnt look at getting the multi and psybolt ammo for it, i think the psyflame would be more effective in my oppinion

I would look at makeing one of the strike squads into a purifier squad, and droping the hammers on the dreadkinghts.
Psy flames are the best way to go in the redeemer.
Do not drop the psycannons or the psychoke grenades (the termies will need them without halberds or quickining).
Do not get the swords on the dreadknights, (I know that they are better) but the fists will do the job if needed.

The pysflame ammunition isn't needed against T4 or less as you would be wounding on 2's anyway. For the 15pts I think the multi melta and pysbolt ammunition would serve you better as brother DOMIN4TRIX pointed out.

Your list looks really fun to play... however you may struggle against most necron vehicles and blood angels predators. I would suggest a Vindicare for this job, as he more reliable than our options against AV13 and higher.
