1500 point list, First 40k tournament (advice)
Ordo Malleus Inquistor (Terminator Armor, Hammer+Psycannon)
(Warband)
Servitor x3 (Plasma Cannon) Acolyte x2 (Melta Gun) Crusader x2 Death Cult Assassin x2, -Chimera.
Grey Knight Purifer Squad (10man) (1) Staff(1) Hammer(4) Halberd(4) Psycannon, -StormRaven
GKSS (5man) (1)Psycannon (1)Hammer -Razorback (Heavy Bolter, Psybolt)
GKSS (5man) (1)Psycannon(1)Hammer -Razorback(Las Cannon, TL Plasma Gun)
Stormraven gunship (TLMM, TLAC)
Nemesis Dreadknight (PT,Heavy Incinerator)
Dreadnought (MM, Claw)
So, the Idea being I have the Stormraven fly (Purifers+Dreadnought in grapples), Dreadknight teleports in to punch things. While the Three tanks roll up to capture objectives/help pick easy armor/take out infantry.

I also like the second list. However, I would change it a little.
For example, if you put the =][= in with the Purifiers, the Purifiers will not be able to perform a sweeping advance due to the Terminator armour. It might be an option to change to a Xenos =][= to carry Rad and Psychotroke grenades.
I also don't think you have enough troops to cover a 1500 point game. All you need is to pull out a 5 objective game and you're pretty screwed.
I really like the idea of 4 Psycannons in the Purifiers - I do the same. However, if you're putting them in a Storm Raven those are 40 points wasted as it has no firepoints.

welcome on board brother.
I like the second more too !
but i'd drop the Inquisitor for a GM to make the purifiers scoring or for the grenades... but i must admit you'll have to twist your list a little to get the points

Welcome to the forums Brother!
I too like your second list better.
Based on your tactics described... The only change that I would consider is to add a Nemesis Greatsword to your 1st DK. I would pull the points by dropping 3 psycannons in the Purifier Squad. I agree with Brother Valten, if you are running them in the Raven and assaulting with them... you don't need them. You still have 6-8 psycannon shots (1 purifier & Inq in Term) just in case.
I think the Nemesis Greatsword and the extra 2-3 halberds on your Purifiers is a better use of the points.

Re: 1500 point list, First 40k tournament (advice)
In regards to your first tournament experience:
Make a checklist before you leave:
Necessary: Dice, army, tape measure, 2-5 copies of army list, templates, army book, rule book, applicable FAQ's printed
Nice to have: bottledwater/gatorade, asprin, granola/snack bar, watch/timer, phone charger
I HIGHLY recommend getting your hands on one of those cafeteria lunch trays, making a display board, or just bringing a wide, shallow cardboard box. Packing up mini's in foam in between rounds eats a lot of time and isn't fun. Throwing things on a tray as they die and moving the tray from table to table is quick, fun, easy, and looks better. anything you can hold with 2 hands, is rigid, flat, and fits your entire army in one layer (without stacking) works great.
Ask your opponent about any questions in his army list before the game starts.
Define ALL terrain on the board, even if it's obvious, before the game starts.
If you have any non-wsyiwyg models or hard to tell conversions, make SURE to clarify them.
make sure you both understand any non-standard scenarios in the same way.
Shake hands and say good luck, and good game. Keep a smile and have fun. No whining, even playfully.
Good luck and have fun!

Re: 1500 point list, First 40k tournament (advice)
This is my revised 3rd list, and although I find most Grey Knight builds interesting, I kind of want to try something a little out of the ordinary. I call it the "I'm coming at you bro list". I will most likely get smoked in control and capture, unless I can destroy enough of them turn 1.
Inquistor coteaz
Warrior Acolyte x11 (3 meltagun, 8 boltgun) (Sorry, we spent too much on the robots)

Stormraven gunship (TLMM, TLAC)
