1500pts Advice and Hammerhand question
Hello Brothers,
This is a quick list im going to try out, any thoughts about changes in the list or tactics is appreciated. I have also included a question that has been bothering me about hammerhand.
1500
Grand Master
Psychoke Grenades, Rad Granades, Mc Nemesis Force Sword
Librarian
3 psychic powers (1. Shrouding, 2. Might of Titan, 3. Varies Depending on enemy)
Terminators x5 #1
Psybolt ammo, Nemesis Force Halberds,Daemon Hammer
Terminators x5 #2
Psybolt ammo, Nemesis Force Halberds, Psycannon, Daemon Hammer
Terminators x5 #3
Psybolt ammo, Nemesis Force Swords, Daemon Hammer, Psycannon
Vindacare Assassin
Dreadnought (A)
Twinlinked Lascannon, Nemisis Doomfist
Dreadnought (B)
T/L Autocannons, Psybolt Ammunition
=1500 Exactly
Game Plan is the Terminator squad #1 will escort the libby, squad #2 will support #1 and move towards objectives under the cover of the librarians powers , Vindicare will pick off high priority targets, Dread (A) will immediately push forward with the army and pop scary vehicles. Dread (B) will destroy vehicles/ elites with its auto cannons, Grand Master and Squad #3 will drop down and target my enemy's weakest flank or if its annihilation, walk on and stay near the libby and do some serious damage with the grenades, psychic powers and hammerhand. Advice is Appreciated
And a question that is bothering me. Can a 10x man Squad of termies with a Librarian (3x powers) and a Grand Master all cast hammerhand and then the libby also cast might of titan and then Quicksilver, then the grenades go off reducing the enemies toughness with rad grenades, and then to further mess them up, psychoke grenades. so that is 37, initiative 10, Strength 8 attacks on the charge against a squad thats toughness will be reduced by 1, so most likely to 2 or 3 and then have a funky effect from the psychoke grenades. is that possible? oh and if the squad all have master crafted weapons, re rolls. yah its expensive as hell but nothing can stand in its way if it gets close enough.

Can i ask why you included Dreadnought (A)?
Seems an anomally in a Grey Knights Army. Is another Psyfleman dread not better, or you just hoping to use up remaining points with it and gain the most amount of firepower with those points? or you just already have the model?

You might aswell combien 2 squads of termies to save on the Psy ammo and then combat squad them before the game or not if it's a KP mission

Its basically that i only have 145 points left and want the most firepower. But i have just ordered in a dreadknight but its a little expensive for this list, any thoughts on what i should drop? other than Dread (A) and i only have the model for 1 psyfleman but i plan to get more.

Vindicare is fairly expensive, if you have it for anti-armor with its 4d6 ammo its probably not necessary with your TLLC and psyfleman dread. If its there for taking out key targets (e.g named characters) then it is a good shout but is it necessary when your GM can take on most people?
Combining two Terminator squads to save on psyammo points and also on killpoints is definitely a sound bet!
If you don't want to remove Dread (A) i would remove vindicare to free up points for an interceptor squad as you are suffering with minimal speed IMHO

Thank you brother, i meant that i would Drop Dread A if there was another option, my old list was similar to this one and i did notice a lack of speed, i think if i were to drop the vindicare and dread A, i could free up enough points for a teleporting (jump infantry) dreadknight which would probably do more than my vindicare and it would draw fire from my army as they advance. or a 10 man intercepter squad with halberds (with joining the termies and moving other things around to free up points). Which should i take?
