Rhino or Razorback?!?!
My army is comming along quite nicely, and I have come upon a dilema. In my current army configuration i use 10 Grey knights in a Rhino, but i have often found it very anoying that i cant split their fire power when finnishing off units, for example if a unit of 5 orks is running at me i dont want to let them assault me, all 10 GK have to shoot them rather than finnishing them off with half the unit and then killing something else with the other half.
So after thinking about my options i have considered the possibility of using 2 5 man squads in razorbacks with lascannons instead. It cost an extra 120 points, and i was wondering if you think the increased flexibility and the anti tank are worth it??
On a differnt note, i will be posting some pics of my new dreadknight at some stage.

Re: Rhino or Razorback?!?!
I think Razors are the way to go with strike squads. Personally I think our PsiBacks are some of the best value for points in the game. 50pts for twin linked str 6, with virtual immunity to shaken and stunned is pure awsome. Keep in mind str6 twin linked HBs are better against AV11 and AV10 than a laz cannon and are better against hords/infantry as well.
The harder question is Rhinos vs Razors for 5 man purifier squads. With 2 psi cannons to shoot out the firing ports Rhinos are a viable option to Razors in that case.

Re: Rhino or Razorback?!?!
I agree with blackjack. R-backs gives the army so much more utility. Whether it be las, hb or ac's (psymmo'd or not) we can tailor R-backs to just about any type of army build. In my opinion that 'flexibility' is definitely worth it.

Re: Rhino or Razorback?!?!
well i have to disagree ...
i prefer rhino because of the 2 weapon ports and the increased transport capacity : now with our new codex 10 man units are more justified than before because of the 2 psy-cannons and the fact that you can fire 2 pycannons is better imho than firing a twin-lascannon or twin-psy-assaultcannon.

I personally refuse to field Razorbacks in my Grey Knight army with all the razorspam floating around out there. Then again i dont field rhino's either since my termies cant hitch a ride in them.

Do you realy think so? Are you a foot slogger or do you deep strike. I am open to any new ideas as my experience is still limited. As i play SW and Orks alot, I suppose I dont realy have to have them...

Re: Rhino or Razorback?!?!
You could consider something like this
Greyknights x 10 Pysbolt ammunition
Razorback transport
Then use a razorback from another unit.
This should give you a good amount of anti-infantry and the ability to harass lighter armor vehicles at 320pts and the smaller unit sizes, it's pretty good.

I figure that if my guys are in a big silver box they're not laying down a whole bunch of S5 shots at 24". If I want to get downfield I take a Raven or an interceptor squad. I think I'd rather put the points towards something faster than a rhino or razorback.
