1000 pts Vs Space puppies

Greetings Brothers
I am having a 1000 pts game comin up with most likely Space wolves and i've come up with a paladin list but i am not really sure that its better than going with normal termies and adding more stuff, so here it is (also is it possible to pick 1 unit of pallies and combat squad it to cover the 2 troop choices i need?)

HQ:Draigo-275 pts
Troops:10xPaladins (2xPsycannons,1xIncinerator,1xpair of falchions,Psybolt ammo) broken in combat squads of 5 - 580 pts
Elite:Vindicare assasin-145 pts
Total of 1000 pts

Wow thats a very small force at 1000 points. With only twelve models you will really struggle with survivability, but it does look like a fun and easy force to play with (plus you will own in Kill point games). to answer you question No you must take two units of 5 pallies to cover your troops choices! I personally would take one unit of 5 pallies and use the other 290points on PAGK squads for more versatility.

with objectives based scenarios you'll get some troubles even if you split your pallies ... but i must say i love the ultra-elite lists it seems more fluffy to me !

I'd swap that assassin for a Psyflemen dread, get rid of the Psybolt ammo, falchions and incin, and have 4 psycannons, or at least 3 and 1 incin, and you'd be set.

I am sorry to have to ask this but what is a psyflemen dreadnought? is it a short for double twinlinked autocannon dread?

yes it's a dread with 2 twinlinked autocannons and with psy ammo

Well brothers the suspicion for herecy among the space puppies has been cleansed our Supreme grand master Lord Kaldor Draigo and his retinue of our chapters finest has wiped out the heretic group of space wolves and their heretic claims. Let it be recorded to our Sanctum Sanctorum that the space wolves have been cleansed.

and now a short bat-rep
It was a game that i must admit i rolled very very well making almost every save and i was fortunate enough to explode both his razorbacks by turn 2.
I set up the 2 pallie groups at a distance of 12" and rushed forward using the distraction of my vindicare (who was set up on a convinient hill on the other side of the table),he tried to flank me but at turn 2 i exploded his razorbacks and after that it all got to close combat where i must say the paladins ruled!. The highlight was that whelp the grey wolves have Ragnar Blackmane that tried to kill Draigo.
The game was at a very friendly atmosphere and we both gave promises of a rematch!!
