2 1500 point lists, 2 questions, which would you fear most, and which has more survivability.

option 1

castellen crowe = 150

3 squads of:

purifier (10) = 240
psycannons (4) = 40
=840

Terminator squad (6) = 240
halberds (all) = 0
= 240

2 of

dreadnaught = 115
TL autocannon (2) = 15
Psybolt ammo = 5
= 270

Grand total = 1500

option 2

ordo malleus inq = 25
terminator armour = 40
psycannon = 15
= 80

GK strike squad (10) = 200
psycannon = 10

terminator squad = 200
halberds = 0
= 410

purg squad = 100
psycannons (4) = 80

2 of

dreadnaught = 115
TL autocannon (2) = 15
Psybolt ammo = 5
= 270

2 squads of:

purifier (10) = 240
psycannons (4) = 40
=560

total = 1500

all input is welcome etc

Fear most?
WE KNOW NO FEAR.

But to me it looks like a case of 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
Option 1 at first look, is the one I'd fear most, only because there's more troops and they are normally elites.
Interesting that you aren't taking any transports.
Option 2 on paper has more survivability because of the extra bodies but the psycannons on the purg squad will have less.

Would they both be played the same, i.e. the same style?

option 1 is most likely a "hold the line" sort of strategy, while option 2 is still in need of tweaking i think. im thinking of dropping the psycannon from the strike squad and loading psybolt ammo, and replacing the purg squad with something more point effective.
