Two lists for tomorrow night (13/7/11)

Have a game tomorrow night and wondering which list i should take. Seeing how most of the armies are space marines at my club...

First list is just an evolution of the list I took last time, and worked well until the rhinos were destroyed. More marines, more anti-tank...

Second list is aimed at delivering a pretty heavy punch to the enemy's battleline with admittedly less psycannon awesomeness, but buoyed up by pretty good numbers (38 models) and some nasty CC ability (purifiers rock).

I could take Xenos Inquisitors w/ rad & psychotroke but I want to see how the daemonblades work!

Anything that gets into CC with the purifiers and survives 3 incinerators is faced with a tonne of nemesis weapons AND a daemonblade

I like your first option better. A couple of things though.
I really think that your henchmen could use more fire power. Adding a servitor or two will do the trick. I also would recommend to use Melta servitors instead of plasma, reliable anti-tank is scarce in your army and there's no such a thing that one too many. Horde control can be done by your troops and purifiers. I'd also try Razorbacks for the Purifiers. You loose the firing points yes, but you're adding firepower to your army, which is always nice to have.

I will think about the servitors....I could take 2 plasma cannon servitors and lose the hellrifles.......

Melta......well Rending works pretty well for me so far. and i'm planning on having the henchmen right at the back of the field, so multi-meltas will be out of range.

Razorbacks.......i have a BIG hangup with these. Yes you get Heavy Bolters, but you lose the psycannon ability unless you get out. And we all know what happens if you get out of a rhino chassis while there are lots of guns......
