Re: 1500 Footslogger
I'd definately try and get warp rift on the Lib for some offensive shooting abilities, its a REALLY good ability IMO.
I like the list though, its balanced, uses the strengths of the various squads, and has a good body count while each squad can fulfil a few roles!
If there was Warp Rift on the Libby and maybe PsyAmmo on the Interceptors I'd say it was pretty perfect.
No vehicles obviously, but I think with the body count and the dreads you should be sweet.

Re: 1500 Footslogger
I could get Psybolt ammunition on the Interceptors by dropping the Incinerators down to Psycannons. However, I don't think it can be underestimated how good moving 12" is and then denying the cover that a squad of Dark Eldar (big in the local meta) due to the flamer template.
It's the same with Warp Rift to be honest. I do love the idea of scoring an automatic penetrating hit on vehicles. Might be worth considering dropping Quicksilver maybe? I6 is enough to hit first against most things, and if I did end up getting charged, then Sanctuary would cause the offending unit (if it didn't have grenades) to strike at I1 anyway.

Re: 1500 Footslogger
Sorry for the double post, but I've been thinking.
What if I dropped half of the Interceptor Squad for a Vindicare Assassin? Or half of the Purifier Squad?
What do you guys think works better in a foot list? Purifiers or Interceptors?

I'd say interceptors for their mobility. You're going butt-naked against shooty lists so you need to get into cover, in fire range and/or assault range ASAP.
I don't think an assassin will be great in your list, the more bodies your army has, the better.

For the record, if you are definitely taking either a 5-man purifier squad with a 10-man interceptor squad or a 10-man purifier squad with a 5-man interceptor squad, it is probably better to take the former (5 purifiers and 10 interceptors).

Agree w/ BrentK and DonFer. Interceptors will be give you more flexibility in a foot-slogger list.

Re: 1500 Footslogger
Do you think that the above list would do better if I dropped the purifiers to a 6 man squad and put in a couple of psybolt heavy bolted razorbacks?
In this case would the purifiers be better with psycannons or incinerators as they'll be in the razorback?
Lots of questions I know, but I've still got 3 purifiers to paint, one of which is currently carrying a Psycannon. I don't want to paint it up as a Psycannon if it would be best to carry a incinerator.

Re: 1500 Footslogger
In Annihilaton, I've always tried fitting 6 men units into razorbacks, the razorbacks don't survive that long and there goes 45pts. Then 6 men units aren't as survivable.
In capture and control, if you keep them close to an objective in cover, then it would be worth it.
The purifiers are somewhat of a mini purgation squad since psycannons are much less in expense(10pts) compared to the Purgation squad(25pts). Incinerators, will be able to be shot once before assault and Psycannons, up to three times before assaulting.
I have the same problem with which to field Psy or Inc? I plan to buy powerful mini magnets to switch out weapons as needed... it beats having 4 inc GK/GKT collecting dust in your cases.

Re: 1500 Footslogger
I think I'll stick with Psycannons - in the event of their transport being destroyed / them not being in a transport at least they'll still have a bit of ranged firepower.
The Razorbacks can then be used as mobile cover or decoys to prevent the enemy from firing their AT at my Dreadnoughts. The thought is that if they hit the Dreads then my Purifiers will be closer for an assault, but if they stop the Purifiers then my Dreads can continue to wreck light transports.
New list comes in like this:
Librarian - Santuary, Shrouding, Quicksliver, Might of Titans, Warp Rift - 175
Purifier Squad - 6 man, 2 Psycannons, 1 Hammer, 3 Halberds - 175
Razorback - TLHB, Psybolt Ammo - 50
Terminator Squad - 5 man, 1 Hammer, 4 Halberds, 1 Psycannon - 225
Strike Squad - 10 man, 2 Psycannons, 1 Hammer, Psybolt Ammo - 250
Razorback - TLHB, Psybolt Ammo - 50
Interceptor Squad - 10 man, 2 Incinerators - 300
Dreadnought - 2 TL AC, Psybolt Ammo, Searchlight - 136
Dreadnought - 2 TL AC, Psybolt Ammo, Searchlight - 136
1,497 points in total, 32 infantry, 4 vehicles.
Maybe the only other thing I could do would be to swap the Incinerators to Psycannons on the Interceptor Squad and then give them Psybolt Ammo.
Thoughts? More C&C welcome.
