Post by Thorinwhitewolf Wed May 04, 2011 4:38 pm

Hi all I know this cam up a while ago but.....
Well I know we (or many of us I think) show our devotion to the emperor. Some have mobile screen savers of the inquisition well how far have people gone?? Mine.
How far is too far? 2739eda6
This is like 2 years old and has been shown on here before.
Now though I have this
How far is too far? Aa593eb1
Nearly finished just needs colour.
Question is can anyone best this or have I gone too far??

How far is too far?............................. scratch

That is definitely a subjective question Razz You sir have gone WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY further than I would ever even consider affraid

I think having a Libre Daemonica tatooed in the centre of your chest would be pretty cool, and would also tie the other pieces together nicely

That truly is dedication. I ain't even coming close. I used to hate those stamps you got at events or nightclubs because they took a bloody week to wash away.

I think that tattoos are too personal to judge on someone else.
Its a personal choice after all and it will be there for life, so if you are happy that's what matters!

Thats a on the fence answer all I asked was have I gone too far? I will admit the photo don't do justice to it as the angle is not right but hey.

Brother Zealadin's answer is a truthful one. Even though the question is presented as a closed ended question (= yes or no answer), it is actually a subjective question because there is not a difinitive answer to it.

Whether you have gone too far depends completely your interpretation of what too far is. But I would guess that you are asking us this because you are unsure of the answer yourself.....So.....Do YOU think you have gone too far?

My view no but many others think I have lol but I have very good friends wo between them have the bad moon clan symbol, dark angels symbol, bold angles symbol and space wolves symbol and they think I'm late in getting it. lol as I have collected only grey knights for the decade + that I have been playing 40k

Personally i think many of the logo's in 40k are very cool, and are very suited for beeing tattoos.

I myself have been tempted on the opus machina at times but never truly felt like it (and money wise it's quite hefty)

Is it too far? No, you like those symbols and they are cool, your friends got them too, and i don't think you plan on quitting any time soon so no... it's not to far.

I have spent 7 years now looking for the right grey knight image of the chapter symbol to go there and it turned out to be this one. I even had the old chestnut ' I am the hammer, I am the sword in his hand, I am the point of his spear. I am the gauntlet about his fist, I am the bane of .... ' and so on and so forth added to the pages and that took a while to get a grey knight prayer that I felt fitted the overall Image so it wasn't a quick oh I'll have that choice. But I will be happy when it's coloured in.

Yea making a good choice can be hard, its easy to rush in and just grab something on the day and then regret it later.
Can't wait to see it fully coloured in!

I've been trying to find an appropriate artwork for my next tattoo, but have been looking for 18 months with nothing coming close to what I want.

i salute your devotion cheers
you're gone far, but not too far for you i guess, even it's too far for me... i'm really paranoïd .... i assume it's all those years of RPG Razz Razz and knowing that somebody can reckognize you by a tatoo makes me shiver ... so i'll never, ever have a tatoo (plus, my wife threaten me of a divorce if i make one ... at least before she makes her own Razz Razz )

Good thing you didn't post pics of a dud with a lower back tatoo of GK nemesis force weapons, scrolls and GK sword in book. That would definitely make me quit the GW prices, long waits for codex, castellan crowes, struggles... altogether. Evil or Very Mad
