I'd probably be inclined to use paladins or at least GKT for a foot slogging list, relentless psycannons will help, as will their resistance to small arms fire.

I'd still be inclined to fit them in. The Inq and warband aren't really all that ideal for footslogging, and thats probably what 300 points right there?
Also paying for psybolt ammo on the purifiers at a premium since only 6 have storm bolters.
Plus the GM psycannon is the most expensive in the game.

Even if you don't take GKT or Pallies I'd still suggest reinvesting some of that

Actually the inq and warband are quite inexpensive. The psybolt ammo my be re-assigned and the psycannon on the GM is just to have another one in the list.

Thats just under 300. The Jokaero are really the expensive part. I would suggest taking two crusaders for some invulnerable saves, but you can't fit any more in.

I compare expense with other GK units, a GKSS with no special CC weapons and a rhino you're looking at the same price roughly. So my thought behind this unit is to provide a fire base back with the Psyflemen, and just maybe get the nice little 12" range increase from jokaero.

I'd take down the psykers and keep the Jokaeros to 3. That's a nice dev squad.

I think anything over 2 jokaeros is getting silly expensive for what you're wanting to do with them.

2 jokaeros gives you a good chance at getting some good customisation rolls. Give the henchman squad 2 plasma cannon servitors and the inquisitor with the hellrifle, stick them in cover and you have a good long range dev squad at only 150 points. give the inquisitor power armour it's only 158 points.

Take 2 inquisitors with this retinue. you have anti-tank (just about) sorted with 4 lascannons.

Vindicare can take out models with a good inv save. coteaz can get a free shot with his squad against anything coming into play 12" from him. the purifiers are all at I6 on the charge and can fire 8 psycannon shots while moving (16 if the stay still!).
The inquisitor squads all have 36" range and able to take on infantry and armour. The Crusaders are there to soak up the inevitable long range stuff and help if the henchman squad get charged.
The Strike Squads could be easily changed to terminators, but they can also deep strike if needed, and 10 men can soak up an awful lot of damage in my exp with them
