Forgeworld Prices

So i've just had a look at the forgeworld website. I'm wondering to buy the pyscannon upgrade, the doors and back doors all for a razorback which would set me back £25.50 + the razorback = £45.50
So i was wondering if i bought it as a package and spent 25.50 + 20.50 x 3 (3 razorbacks kitted) would cost me = £136.50... would i be able to get a discount? I really don't want to spend more than £105 for 3 razorbacks...

I know that is a hefty price to pay for Razorbacks, but unfortunately I have not heard of FW giving discounts before.

The way I would overcome the price issue is to:

- Order psycannons from bitz stores/ebay ($3+ for two cannons)
- Order some GS ($10?)
- Collect your plastic icons from other kits together

Make your own. This will save A LOT of money, AND give you very unique models in an otherwise homogeneous army.

Just get the doors from FW and do the rest yourself! Can normally pick up cheap razors or rhinos. Try eBay or similar

I will attempt to haggle with them, after learning some skills online.

The main issue for me here is that the forgeworld redeemer is 20£ for it's pieces, 3 weapons, 4 doors, pilot and bits. Yet I'm trying to get 1 weapon, 4 doors (1isn't a door) but it's costing me more...

When I have 200£ saved I will make a phone call and see whether they can introduce a all in one package like the redeemer which works out cheaper...

Does anyone agree with me?

I decided to post this thread here because I will update it when I have made contact with forgeworld and fingers crossed I. Can save some money and if we buy in bigger bulks we could all get something from forgeworld for a decent value... Just a thought

P.s. How many halberds come in a box of 5 grey knights?

I kinda think getting a deal out of FW would be as likely as walking into a GW store and getting a deal, but it is definitely worth a try

Yep definitely only 3, which is a shame for anyone trying to build full squads of them using the new kits.

Now what I did (because im cheap) is buy one set of doors and copy them for yourself,its just the detail on the outside of the door you need,it saved me some money for other stuff. So long as you dont sell them for profit you should be ok
