what would you field to contest/capture enemy objectives
I want to create a discussion on what units would you field to contest an objective using 750pts (half your army if your playing 1500pts)
What do you think is most effective? 35+ deepstriking grey knights, 17 terminators deepstriking or anything else you can think of, but try to include atleast one squad which can not only contest but capture too. (This can include unyielding anvil, draigos paladins and castellans purifiers) You may ignore the force organisation chart for the required 2 troops and 1HQ

Ten man squads of interceptors. Drop some cinnies or psycannons on them if you can spare it...just brutal. Make them troops with Draigo. Then combat squad them; say, 2 squads of 10 so that you now have 4 squads of 5 who can run around, move 12 inches, and shunt 30 inches at the end to capture/contest.
You can have deepstriking termies too; but the interceptors beefed out with psybolts/psycannons and constantly moving about for cover could be a real headache for any enemy.

If you need to contest an objective you'll find there's no better unit than these 2:
Paladin squad.
Dreadknight.
IMO

Paladins have the ability to hold pretty much anything they set foot on!
As montioned above Interceptors are also a great option to get to where you need to and contest, hold, etc....
Kinda depends on the style of play you prefer, and what kind of enemy you are facing.

As Corennus said paladins are going to do the job if its static. With two psycannons in cover they will be a giant pain in the neck for anyone to budge. Add a librarian with sanctuary and shrouding and you'll be laughing. That is a rock.
For a purifier army with their fail character I'd probably say 5 man squads in razors. Fast moving, two psycannons or Incins per 5, and cleansing flame + 3 with NFW's.... Not uber, but with the HQ choice they are scoring, and can handle alot of different situations.
Dreadknight barebones is also going to be good for creating havoc and contesting.

For a static defense, I'd use GKSS. For late game captures, GKIS or NDK or the nearest GKT/Paladin squad.

Dreadknight with incinerator and greatsword.
Anything that can survive multiple incinerations will have to face 3 Str 7 Power Weapon attacks that will be rerolling everything.
