G'day guys and gals,
My name is Jeremy, I'm 20 and from Melbourne, Australia.
Started playing 40k in 2009 (using Grey Knights), but it only lasted a year.
Broke my leg recently, and have had to give up Australian Football and Cricket, so was desperately in need of a hobby when I remembered how bloody good this game used to be, and am going to commit to it.
Have got a few mates interested, and we're all picking our armies at the moment and are probably going to split the cost of the rulebook and catch up on a weekend and learn as we go.
I've settled on Grey Knights as they were just so much fun to play in '09, they still look great and there are some fantastic new models I'm looking to get my hands on.
I'm not really interested in tournament play or anything too serious, so am not looking to make an army that is ridiculously competitive and a bit bland to play, it's really just something to do with some mates over a few beers once a week I hope.
I really look forward to getting to know some of you, and I will be pestering you for tips and good options for kitting out my army.

welcome to this wonderful forum. everyone here is super friendly and are happy to help with almost any question so feel free to ask/pester away 
one thing i saw was 'over a few beers'... as its often referred to as the 'game of remembering things' i envy your mental power to potentially get drunk and play warhammer simultaneously lol
