This is my 1000point list for playing fun games. Its very squishy but also deadly! Twisted Evil

The tactics are drive all three squads forward as fast as possible until they are within 12" of the biggest threat. They then proceed to kill that threat (or fail and die). The GKSS will deepstrike where they are they are needed and the dred sits back and shoots!

Why mix the melta and PG? Also can't you take 3 PG/MG per squad? I would be taking 3 Plasma for killing 3+ and 2+ units, and 3 melta for vehicles. At the lower BS thats slightly better than having two guns on a BS4 model.
The hotshots seem interesting although the BS lets them down slightly!!!
I like the DCA included though, anyone charging you will regret it.

Very intersting list though

Thanks for the advice! I agree about the weapons coment I played a game vs Necrons today and it would have been helpful to have 3 meltas/plasmas in one squad. I lost but the game was NOT one sided, jokaeros are fantastic and versatile. I rolled better armor for one squad and better guns for both the others!

Ohh nice the Joki's are definately very very cool!
One added benefit of the melta all in one squad is you can shoot just the assault melta weapons at a tank and if it blows up still charge to take advantage of your DCA, with plasma as rapid fire you can't do this, but plasma are amazing against terminators!

I think the DCA like the Joki's are one of the better new options available!

Yea the DCA are very very cool. In the game I played they massacred necrons with ease, and when you combine them with Coteaz's hammerhand they become even more deadly!!

Thats a good point I never thought of that!
I think a squad of 7 is able to wipe out a 10 man SM squad on the charge which is also pretty amazing!

Here are a couple of pictures of my list! (I like visual representation of my lists)
There is still a lot thats a wip but at least its table ready!

My dread is actually a sentinel as i felt that an actual GK dread felt out of place in this list.

@Zealadin I decided to have all three plasmas/meltas each in there own squad and have Cotaez's squad full of hot shots!

Nice stuff! Are those DCA dark elves? They look good.

I think 10 hotshots in rapid fire range kill about 3.3 marines, while 3 Plasma will kill an additional 2.6. Not bad, but their BS really lets them down Sad
Not that Str 3 on the hotshots helps either Razz

I like the sentinel too, really carries that Inq feel into the army, and looks sweet! There is something a bit wrong about dreads with two gun arms, I mean what happens if someone knocks it over :p

Or alternatively if Coteaz is in the squad two Servitors with Plasma Cannons or Multi Meltas might work, since he negates mindlock.

Yes I am using dark elves as DCA I think they look WAY cool Very Happy

Good Idea about the Servitors in Coteaz's squad, I didnt think of that! I'd like to put in three multi melta's in!

3 MM is certainly a really good firebase, and if you add in a Joki you might even get lucky and get the 12" range, meaning you could have a LC and 3 MM shooting from a single squad. Could even add a crusader or two to absorb wounds on the 3++.
