GK Week-Beasts of War
If anybody's interested start checking BoW starting Monday for Grey Knights week. For those who don't know these guys they literally do hour upon hour of video reviews, tactics and painting/modelling tips when they feature a new dex. Though you may not agree with everything they say, it's still highly worth it.

First few vids are up. I really wish warren would stop pushing GK as the perfect starter army. Even with all the new goodies, they're still going to be a difficult army to master because of the low model count.

He's saying that the tactics CAN be simple, NOT that they ALL are.
I agree with you that the GKs are NOT a starter army, but I can see where he is coming from.
Don't forget he wants to increase sales aswell

Sorry for the double post, but I was just watching the Draigo vid and they said that his Titan Sword is a reforged Daemon weapon! Is this right? If so GW went crazy with all of this GK with Daemon weapon stuff eh!!!? Why !? wouldn't a GK's armour burn and hiss from touching a daemon weapon, or repel it like same poled magnets?!

Well, the actual account is, after Draigo killed the bloodthirster (with his bare hands I assume since he didn't have a weapon ), he used his sanctified flame and purged the daemon's weapon and melted it and reforged his titan sword.

Blah. Darrel hardley reads the fluff. They even messed up on Draigo's; saying things that as an initiate Draigo was sucked into the warp...they could at least clearly analyze it before spewing such opinions. Otherwise, not a bad listen.

Agree. They just went head on attacking the fluff, and how stupid it was. They didn't even consider him as a good character.

His real strength aside from being a CC beast and generally geared towards fighting Daemons and Psykers, is that he has a Storm Shield, and is an Eternal Warrior. He can take stray shots and shrug them off like nothing happened. As stated above, best use for him is Wound Allocation when those nasty high strength and AP1-3 shots comes your way.

If ever you plan to footslog your GKT or Paladins, Draigo is the only character that makes them resilient to AT shooting.

He'll make anything more resilient to shooting.
Just finished watching the Mordrak video, nothing new there that we already didn't know aside from a few new tidbits. Though they could at least get the fluff right. They said that he bound the souls of his fallen brothers to him!
