Force Weapon Activation
Just making sure I'm reading and getting this right. The rules say that Force Weapons are based on Initiative and activate after the first unsaved wounds. That means if I have a 5-man unit of 4 halberds and one sword only wounds caused by the sword will cause insta-death. Providing of course at least one of the halberds caused an unsaved wound and the psychic test was passed. Am I reading this right? Or is it just saying that even though higher initiative weapons unlocked the insta-kill lower ones won't miss out on the fun?

Re: Force Weapon Activation
What I think it means is that after the first wound inflicted, you get to activate force weapons, i.e. All unsaved wounds will cause instant death.
So in this example:
Halberd attacks and causes an unsaved wound, take psychic test to activate force weapons. Successful psytest --> the unsaved wounds inflicted by the halberds will cause ID, and subsequent FW attacks from any other weapons will also cause ID (provided that it is from the same squad <excluding ICs> during the assualt phase).
Basically you activate it once, and all wounds inflicted in the assualt phase by that squad are instant death wounds.

Re: Force Weapon Activation
Also there is an interesting discussion on how brotherhood of psykers modifies force weapon activation. Normally a force weapon is activation is targetted at the 'victim' of the wound, allowing things like wolf talismans to potentially negate it's affect. Brotherhood of psykers means that, RAW, the activation is targetted at the unit of grey knights rather than it's victim and therefore removing that negation possibility. They are of course still suseptible to runic weapons, psychic hoods, etc...
